Scarily enough at the international game on saturday* (Eire :confused: V macedonia ) the PA was still referring to "an Irish League X1" as participating in the FAI shiny new competition. I mean is it really beyond them to get the name right or are they inviting a Northern selection down and excluding our league as a reprisal for Limericks victory ?

advertising hoardings had Airtricity League XI but adverts on the big screen had Irish League.

Is it just me who would much prefer to see a Linfield (the half of their team that don't support Celtic) and Glentoran XI get a crack at this? Obviously not going to happen though.
