At a time when non LOI heads are showing as much interest as they ever have in the league off the back of Dundalks success of course it should have been massively pushed by the FAI they did a hell of a lot more advertising for friendlies against Oman ffs. Great chance to possibly get a huge crowd with a lot of people that would never have thought of going before in and be in with a chance of getting them back but as usual its been missed.

Just on the train up now. Really looking forward to this one, think it will a better game than last year. Seems to be more of a buzz down here this year. Looks around 20,000 about 5,000 down on previous year. Top east stand last year had a good crowd of Dundalk in it compared to nearly empty today.Quote:

Thought the better team lost overalll. Cork had a good spell for the first part of the second half, but Dundalk came back into it and dominated the last 20 minutes and extra time too. Scrappy unlucky goal too. Hard luck on Dundalk.Quote:
