for all the clamour from fans to call up Wes Hoolahan over the years, you'd think that people would be able to spell his name correctly.
This picture really says it all http://sphotos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...53965549_n.jpg
just figured out I've only two full weeks of work left in the year, and one of them is next week!
What would I do without the Chicken Breast Sandwich from Supermacs?
Play a gig...followed by car accident....followed by a man getting run over by his own stolen jeep....gotta be living the rock and roll lifestyle now?
Don't confuse Sunday in Raphoe with the Rock n Roll lifestyle. ;-)
That moment when you realise you're ****ed on a Sunday and wrote stuff here...
F|_|CK!!!
We've all been there. You don't remember writing it, and still after reading it 6 times, not exactly sure why you wrote it.
Movember - people doing it as an excuse to grow a moustache and not feel singled out when laughed at instead of doing it for prostate cancer awareness or having a Mo-page. I have met 3 people now that have no page yet are growing a moustache and never once mentioned prostate cancer awareness when it was being discussed. A-holes! It really bothers me!
For the record, i am not partaking.
Seems to me that most people just do it 'for the craic' now more than anything. I know several good people genuinely raising good money for the cause, but I know a hellova lot more using it as an excuse to grow stupid looking fur on their faces.
I'm doing Movember (third year in a row doing it) and it's been a little tough to raise the cash. I'm keeping my Mo'Space page reasonably up to date, but whereas in the last two years I'd be well clear of €100 by now, I've only raised €35 to date.
This is partially down to the numbers of people doing it now. Previously, donaters had less people to donate to, which resulted in less people with more money, now it's the other way around. As long as the cash is raised, I'm not bothered how, or by who, it's done.
Oh, and it's endorsed by Ron Swanson.
I did Movember a few years ago. And raised a decent sum of money....I arrived into work with about a week to go find a colleague had shaved his beard into a handlebar "tache. Not for the sake of raising money but to basically make sure he got some attention.....Pathetic really. And the main reason I haven't done it since. It had been hijacked by attention seekers.
Headline of the year?

It's not bad I guess!
Reminds me that today's front page Daily Mail headline was about a new diet that can add years to your life. It's a low calorie diet. Well duh.
Didn't think the Derry News would sell in Letterkenny! That fella is a huge character around town, the comments on facebook had really worried his family.
Theres only one Kevin McHugh & he's Harps through & through. He's from Killea he puts the goals away, walking in a Finn Harps wonderland
Last Monday in my current job.
Whoop de fuppin' doop!
Just made my own taco sauce (sort of) and stuck on some potato wedges to try it out. I think I'm the next Jamie Oliver.
Last day in work. Epically hungover. Go team.
A master never reveals his secrets.
On the other hand..since I'm not a master...half and half but a good dollop of both Tomato Ketchup and Mayonnaise , a little bit of Garlic Sauce, and lots of Paprika. Stir it all up, it'll be slightly lumpy at first, but if you keep on stirring it, it gets smoother, and very nice with potato wedges.
Try it.
Can't/won't sleep waiting for word from home, wondering will I ever go to another match with my Dad.
Awfully sorry to read that, Spud. Thinking of you and all close to you tonight.
That's awful stuff Spud. Hope all is well. Thoughts with you and the family tonight.
Next person to post "call him up Trap!" following any sort of positive news in a player's thread deserves a slap.
It wasn't the napalm after all...
