Yeah I think Romania pipped em at the death. The Danes were the only 2nd placed Europeans not to qualify. I'm sure winning the European Championship two years later made up for it, even though they didn't qualify for that either.Quote:

Hmm so a French player, who is managed by a French manager, takes out an Irish player. Convenient.
I thought he might have got a knock alright. Papers this morning said he should have scored twice when put in by Crouch flicks but I think that's harsh. Song madea great tackle on him to stop a certain goal, and Robbie showed a lot of skill to get into the position.
It didn't look like a bad knock - surely he'll be OK in 2 weeks.
Spurs aren't playing again until next weekend VS Sunderland, I expect he'll be fine by then. He was limping, but looked more uncomfortable than anything else.
Robbie played a game for us only a couple of days after his father died, I think he would play on crutches in these games if he had to.
Just scored a bundled in goal. Got into a great position to score.Thankfully this happened just after he was brutally hacked down by Bardsley. Not injured thank god.
