That's one of the funniest posts I've seen in a long time. A fella from glen who names out those players in one sentence and then says another club has too many chiefs not enough Indians in the next sentence. Get real lad, let's be honest these so called top players who will win 2nd division at a canter aren't doing a great job at it at the moment. Knocka could easily pip them yet. Now there's a case of too many chiefs if I ever saw it so I wouldn't be too quick in commenting on another club with the mess ye have up there. As for tower, besides 3 players who were playing premier last year the rest of that team/squad all played 3rd division last year with tower. Open to correction on that but I'm fairly certain I'm right. They had a few of these "chiefs" you speak of but I'm hearing they were ran out of it after Christmas and since then they have won every game.

Rathcoole will be looking for ballincollig to get any kind of result at the weekend to help there challenge for league 2!
The issue with Glenvale is that they started the season sharing a pitch in Farranree but there was some issue with other teams having preference so they had to find somewhere else. They then went to the Regional Park where they were playing for a bit until I heard a roadway was to go through where the pitch is.
They are a good bunch of lads which are just having a tough time at the moment but realistically nobody will give a pitch this time of year when games are being cancelled due to weather. What a lot of teams are doing is having the away fixture as a home game.
Crescent are a strong side, not taking anything away from that though they are an a side which are ageing. Division Two they seem to have wrapped up and they are going for a treble which I wouldn't begrudge them only our club is doing the same and are going for one of the cups Crescent are after.
I have a lot of friends in the Crescent camp and wish them success as a club on the up but I think next year will tell a lot. Next year they will be involved in a lot of local derbys which Division 1 will throw up so I think a few fresher younger faces are needed.
Wouldn't be placing any bets on Rylane winning Div 1 lad, they have a tougher run in than Fairview. They still have to play Fairview away, Blackstone away, Kanturk away. All teams which are still in the hunt for the title.
Fairview have 5 games remaining and four of them are home games, ball in their court I think!!!
Only reason I'm saying Rylane is because seen them twice this year and was impressed by them very young team with speed skill and will to win play to the last minute. They are very fit due to gaa I'd be thinking and I would back the, to go up to fair view and get a result not saying they will get 3 points which they could tho but think they could sneak a draw up there. Kanturk are not doing the best this season so I wouldn't worry there I will still go with rylane to edge it with fair view in close second! As for crescent they have a bit of youth tbh I know they have good few experienced heads but it's the mix u need and at the moment they seem to have it spot on very good young pacey winger could open up any team on his day!
I suppose only time will tell with Division 1, there's still points to be won and lost, maybe the Fairview v Rylane game may decide the league. Blackstone Rovers are still there too though. They're not that far behind the top 2.
I don't have any issues with Crescent, as i mentioned i know a few of the lads. I'm just saying that it'll be good to see them in a league they should be in next year. My comment about having an ageing team may be a bit harsh fair enough but i've been to see them a few times and i'm just commenting on what I have seen. Experience is a good thing to have in the dressing room when chasing trophies though!!
Any games called off let us know. Not sure where to go yet though. Pitches should be fine this week surely
Innish game still on as of now
Any scores lads

Big weekend at bottom of division 2 all the bottom sides playing eachother.. 3 points at home Jryno?
ya i would back ye to come out on top to be honest blackpool should beat ballinahassig reasonably easy and leeview should take ballincollig after what i saw of them two weeks ago anyway!
Id agree with that too Blackpool should be far too strong for ballinhassig and Leeview have players that are far above the standard theyre playing some of them should give premier a go but on the side then its good to see fellas sticking together trying to take a club through the leagues
Ya leeview a good team but no disrespect are a very noisy group when things not going there way can turn on ref but also turn on each other from what i heard from a team that played them this year
We have a great group of lads & our team spirit is fantastic. We've a lot of players that could play higher but as Luis said we've all committed to staying together to bring the club forward as far as we can.
In relation to the "noisy" comment that's ridiculous. Yes we get frustrated & yes we get angry, show me a team that doesn't. We don't give any ref any more agro than any other team & we certainly don't get on each other's backs. We've a good captain & a strong line that don't take dissent.
We know we have games in hand but as a lot of people say id prefer the points on the board but we are going to fight hard to get into a position where we can push for promotion. We won't take any team lightly starting with Ballincollig on Sunday.
did one of your own players not get sent off in some game recently for head butting his own or was that just lies been spread?? all in all i think ye have a good squad with few good players that could play in higher division and im still backing ye to pip rathcoole to second spot

Much needed points for Cloughduv today. Finally seeing the rewards of getting a few players back. Still not at full strength though. Very much a pity a few Div 2 games not going ahead. Going to be a massive build up of games.
Any debate JRyno on the result?
Not really. I think Cloughduv wanted it more than us in the second half. Even enough in the first. One of our lads had 3 great chances to put us one up in the firs but it's his 3rd game back after 5 years out from the game. We gave away 2 stupid goals and the penalty was a penalty for sure. The only thing that got on my nerves was the Cloughduv line and a couple (and only a couple) of their players were very mouthy. I missed a tackle and got booked, had absolutely no argument about it but fellas saying they'll get me before the end of the game and all this... To be fair, if I made contact I may have injured his vagina. Overall, no argument. They were deserved winners and wish them best of luck for the season. Majority of them seem like sound lads that just want to play ball.
Went to watch the Kanturk v Rylane game, Kanturk started well and were holding there own for a good stage of the first half when they took the lead, maybe this was the wake up call Rylane needed because they took it up a gear and got the equaliser.
Straight from the kick off then they won the ball back and went down the field and scored a great goal. After that they closed up shop and took the points. After the second goal the Kanturk heads dropped and that was the beating of them.
Ya I suppose both teams needed the 3 points to try and pull themselves away from the bottom 2 ballinahassig look like goners if he beat Blackpool he should be fine I would be thinking!! Ya they call for everything but I suppose if u don't call ull never get!! Most refs just go with a call ha ha
We r done with Blackpool beat them at theirs lost at ours. So we will b relying on other teams and ourselves to pick up a few points. It's not even calling for everything. Their manager/coach calling me a *****, they got their free kick. like I said they deserved their win and seem like a sound bunch otherwise. I know we all act differently during games anyways. Best of luck to them for the season etc.
