Who got the Broadford goals the weekend?
Tough matches for Rathkeale, Ballingarry and Broadford this weekend would be great to see them all go through, outside of those fixtures you would expect the remaining Desmond League sides to progress against weak opposition.

Good luck to all sides in the FAI Junior Cup next weekend. What has been the best performance by a DL side in this competition to date ?

A few years ago Abeyfeale got to the last 16 and then the following year Newcastlewest got to the last 16 think they both lost in extra time too.....

Didn't rathkeale go far maybe 2 or 3 years ago? Lost to ballymun at home..think it was the 7th round they were beaten in..I could be wrong

Its important that our clubs prove more competitive than Kerry opposition, Hopefully our teams come out on top particularly Ballingarry and Broadford who are playing two stalwarts of Kerry soccer, Hopefully Newcastle Rovers and Afc, Rathkeale and Shannonside will all have too much for there opposition

Yes you are correct that Rathkeale won 2-1.

As far as I am aware 2nd round munster junior cup games are not on until 19/20 november

Any predictions for games at weekend, Munster Junior games look like going the way of the premier sides. Some interesting games in Reidy Cup, with higher placed teams coming through with maybe exception of St Bens. Ballingarry B should come through against St Itas B in Hogan Cup. Kileaney will surely bounce back after last weeks defeat. Higher placed teams should also come out on top in division 2 and 4

Why so little games in Div 3 and 4? Talk about wasting weekends :bad:

With only 8 teams in division 3 and 4, I'd say there is no rush with putting down games, with hogan cup and reidy cup also on you wouldn't want teams getting too far ahead of other teams.

Why don't they play each other 3 times in these divisons? Just an idea. Gives lads more chance to actually play games instead of having long breaks in between.

Any other predictions on weekend games, which game would be the best to go see in munster junior. Broadford seem to be the most in form team but can't see breska making a good game of it. Any ideas???
