didnt paddy o'donnell once play for Town, i do remember him years ago playing a few games, short memories these guys have. saintsfan you cant be serious about handing 3 points to st michaels, do you not think its a it much to be asked to play 2 in 3 days, especially when they will face the two best teams over the past few years in the TSDL, St Michaels and clonmel Town?

Chops, I think you have misunderstood preds - I thought he was actually complimenting you but maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, regarding the Town/Celtic game, I thought, generally speaking, it was a good sporting game. The penalty decision was harsh in my opinion but decisions like this happen at the highest level. Two things disappointed me. Firstly, the comment on the Clonmel Celtic website regarding the Complex (reference to the grass and lawnmower) was unnecessary and untrue. I thought the Complex looked very well and I'm sure some people made a lot of effort to have it that way. Secondly, I was disappointed to hear the referee had to show a red card to a Clonmel Town player in the dressingroom after the game. What a pity these things should happen.Quote:

The removal was Wednesday with Burial on Thursday. As I said it 100% wasnt agreed to play the game tonight and the league are aware of this.

Well said Nononsense,i have no idea the ins and the outs of the Villa/Saints game but every time this guy posts it's the same carry on,he even has the disrespect to question funeral arrangements,Saints are a great club and this guy drags them through the mud every time

i have held back on commenting am neutral here but think peake should have played the game giving a walkover should be last resort for any team there are many smaller clubs than peake who pride themselves on always getting a team out and handing your biggest rivals 3 of the easiest points they will get all season on opening game of league campaign is madness. just a quick example bansha were in exact same position the other night players mother died had hassle of tsdl over getting game off and ended up playing the game minus 5 or 6 players but still got team out. cant understand why peake did not just go into tipp and fufill fixture whats the point in taking on the tsdl over a fixture. After years of dealing with tsdl you realise you just have to go along with the madness. if peake were available to train tonight they should have just went to cooke pk and played the game. just think the whole farce devalues tsdl premier league and should not have happened.
agree with you nononsense about the comment about the lawnmower, thats just typical from that club, who writes these reports? they are only make a show of themselves and the club, very sad, i didnt see the pitch but that venue is always in impeccable condition in august
The fixture shouldn't have been made in the first place,when both clubs were playing again on Sunday,it's the TSDL's problem not the clubs involved,it's not that they have a backlog or anything,let common sense prevail and play the fixture at another date,I'm sure St michaels wouldn't like a free 3 points now would they??
well lads totally agree with preds ,,fixtures are a joke its an 8 team league should be 9 but is it true st nicholas asked not to go up from the first ,if so how come the third team not gone up then ?? im new to this but been involved in tsdl teams or 17 years ,i like yer views on things and ye are spot on on most of the info ye get about the tsdl...
Your extremely bitter towards Clonmel Celtic, I've said it before and i'll say it again there are no angels in volved with either side. Don't pain Clonmel Town whiter than white cause they are far from it, as is the case with Clonmel Celtic. You know people involved with your club over the years have said terrible things also so let the rubbish talk that comes from both clubs lie.
hi lads im new to this but have been involved with tsdl teams for about 17 years..not involved anymore due to kids and work i heard about this site and you lads are great with info about tsdl teams .I was at the town v celtic game and have to say the standard of football was top class both teams trying to play the game the right way...ive heard all the comments about the pitch etc which is crap but these are fans comments which you will get that ,celtic should be pleased that for 90 mins they matched town for fitness and out played them at times which they have not done in the past
what was the story with st nichlos not going up??? was it true they asked not to?

I agree with you, as i've said its out of oredeR, also some of the abuse thrown by town fans the other night was disgraceful and not for the 1st time. The pitch in my opinion was poor, i dont condone his comment. But as I've said there have been far worse things said at these matches but its pointless coming on here and having tit for tat arguements. I would say there is no love lost betwen the clubs its always going to be that way. I just feel this is not the place for he said this he said that arguements.Quote:
