Paddy McCourt in Glasgow today for talks with Celtic. By all accounts ( Radio foyle) it's a far better deal for Derry City...

DCFC could possibly put in the deal for first refusal for any players coming home to this island. I'm sure Celtic have quite a few players from here.
The Mccourt WBA deal is off.

The deal with Celtic is undertood to include 2 friendly's with full 1st team squad guarenteed for both games and a gala dinner. Excellent money making events for our coffers.
McCourt was being looked at by Derry but Celtic won't be bidding....good source!!
Glasgow's Evening Times: "Celtic's offer of £150,000 will rise to £250,000 depending on his success in Glasgow."
Does Strachan see McCourt as a replacement for McGeady i wonder?
good move for mccourt.. that was kept very quiet by celtic... interestin to see how he does???
