Think our Leon dodged a bullet coming off at half-time today. Newcastle are 2-0 down and reduced to 10 men at Stevenage.
Ah I didn't realise he came off at half-time.

I though Stevenage looked pretty good from what I saw of them, the looked well above the league they were in.
Looked like a top side in fact. Ie passing it around a bit.
delighted he got the 3 goals, I think I've said for years that he had the potential...very few Irish players have scored 3 in a game! Lets hope he can keep it up, still much more in him I'm telling you.
You said at some stage that McGugans father was Irish as well, livehead, is that definitely the case? There is no mention of his availability anywhere other than on here, strange for a player having a decent season at a good level.Quote:

True, but maybe Carrols move depends on Newcastle getting a replacement also, but it does look like Leon Best will have his shot at being a prem striker, and good luck to him, it will be intersting to watch how he does.

Lots of goals scored in the PL today, it's a record apparently, the lowest scoring game had 3 goals and there are two 8's and a 7
with Wolves v Man U to come. I must see if I can get a stream for that, will probably end up 0-0 though. :p
