Horgan moves to Cork City

Sligo Rovers can confirm that Daryl Horgan has moved to Cork City after the clubs came to an agreement for the transfer of the player.
Horgan joined Rovers this year and moved to the Rebels where he helped them secure promotion to the top flight.
After an approach from City and consultation with the player, a deal was agreed for the move.
We would like to wish Daryl all the best at Cork City and thank him for his contribution during his time with Rovers.
Greg Bolger to Pats
If things go the way I'm beginning to think, Pats will be a serious challenger next year.
What makes ya say that ?
We can expect more moves from Sligo as this indicates they're upping their spending to challenge for the league: http://www.sligochampion.ie/sport/so...t-2951765.html
"A courageous decision" no less. Fine line between bravery and stupidity etc.
Pat's and Longford fans should know...:tremble:
Yeah, we're f****d.
That was my favorite quote. Dillusional is not the word, how many teams chasing success by throwing imaginary cash around and then crashing will it take before club owners cop on. Sligo are so desperate to win the league at this stage they'll just end up like bohs, shels, Rovers etc
Article also says Paul Cook is back. Plus ca change.
for twenty years rovers have been the most courageous winning many a vc
What adjective would you like? He's hardly going to say foolhardy?
Courageous in the context of the economic situation and other advantages certain teams have like renting their ground from local authorities like Shamrock Rovers or others like Finn Harps with a bail out.
Courageous in the context of desire and knocking on door of league title.
