Sorry to disappoint you Hoops but the opposite is true. There is a rule in place to ensure it does happen. Goes back to the days of a strong Geraldines B team that won Div 1A a couple of seasons running. The ammendedment has never been changed so Balla B will be promoted if they finish in top two.Quote:

I think Mungret have alot of premier quality
players in their side-especially the wingers
and could put out a decent performance,
I for one hope they cause an upset
but think they should be looking to concentrate
more on the league 1st of all an possibly the
league cup too.
Promotion and a cup is highly likely if they keep
performing like they have been in recent weeks...
