Washington don't have a GM! ... They are a joke of an organisation!

Luck going on the PUP list from that off season shoulder surgery....they are saying it was expected but it seems like guys stay hurt all year when they start on that list.
Giants WR Sterling Shepard goes down in a heap and carted off at practice. Supposedly ankle. BIG BIG trouble for Big Blue if he is out for the year. Really expecting him to be a pro bowler in the slot between OBJ and Brandon Marshall. Devastating. Great guy too.
Tannehill leaves with knee injury. Dolphins season hangs in balance. Sort of.
Cutler out of retirement to MIA for 1 yr/$10 Million. Kap still unsigned. Went to Jets practice Saturday....the DBs look great. QBs look horrid.
Huge hit for K.C. with Spencer Ware out for the year and Edelman is done for NE.
Pats finally humbled in bad loss:

They will probably win the next 10 games.
This is funny:

Eli benched for Geno Smith, starting streak will end, second only to Brett Favre.
That's a shocking decision by the Giants management, they must have consulted Eli beforehand, you don't just break a guys streak when your season is over to look at a guy who wasn't good enough for the Jets!!! When Geno throws 3 first half picks and McAdoo turns to Eli and tells him to go in, Eli should tell him to f**k off and go in himself, stupid decision McAdoo has to be fired after this season.
I agree with you Arfella...they have been getting absolutely torn up on sports radio since it happened. Everyone is saying the Jags are the perfect place for Eli next year...Bortles is awful, reunite with Coughlin, good D, etc...I just have a tough time imagining him in that ugly Jags get up. Browns have had 24 QBs start since Eli's first start til now. Knicks have had 9 coaches...New Jersey has had 5 Governors...
Real Ale do you think Mike Tomlin should be talking so positively that it's between the Steelers and Pats in the AFC and no one else? I happen to agree, it just seems dangerous to touch the money. He was literally like We have them in week 15 and then again in the AFC Championship. Wow.
Tomlin has every reason to be confident as there is literally nothing in the AFC this year - even the Pats are not as good as previous years - still, this is football and you just never know. The Steelers still need to take care of business against a resurgent Bengals and Ravens in the next 2 weeks.
What about the NFC? Eagles, Vikings, Rams, N.O. ....nothing really excites me there. Wasn't impressed with the Panthers last week vs Jets at all. Jets were playing both them AND the refs and still should have won.
I love watching the Eagles and the Saints - in fact I reckon the Eagles are going to take advantage of this down year and win the Superbowl. Rams are fun to watch as well - I think the Vikings will be found out at some stage. Can't trust Keenum. Eagles / Patriots Superbowl for me at this stage.
There is nothing in the AFC besides the Steelers & Pats and I can't see the Steelers beating them in January, so I think that side of things is pretty much taken care of but the NFC is where it's at any one of the current 6 seeds (7 if you include Seattle) could make it to Minnesota in Feb, some real offensive juggernauts who aren't afraid to just chuck the ball down the field, great to see and will make for compelling viewing come the post-season. On the other end of the scale I am really excited to see Jimmy G get his first start for the 49ers, been a rough couple of years to be a 9ers fan but I think Jimmy G could be the guy we build the franchise around going forward.
The Santa Clara 49ers players were not happy last week when their own fans cheered that QB Bethard (sp?) getting hurt. Jimmy G has to be a little nervous starting behind that O-line!
Yeah that was ridiculous, the Iowa kid fought hard for the team despite having tackling dummies for an o-line and made some really good plays, but I never saw the actual talent that could make him a franchise QB. Jimmy G just has that QB look and swagger, I was legitimately aroused watching him for the limited snaps he saw against the Seahawks, although I was quite a few beers deep late on Sunday and I might have felt the same about anyone at that point!
I agree Jimmy G has a shot to be good. Although we have seen this movie before with Matt Cassell et al.........You don't want to win games now though. Too many bad teams could hop over you. If you have your QB you could think about Saquon Barkley in the draft. Rumors today that both USC and UCLA QBs will stay in school. That GREATLY affects the top 5 picks.
Real shame about Carson Wentz's injury, I hate Philly because of their fans but that team was exciting to watch and I was hoping they would break their fans heart's in January/February instead during the regular season.
Meanwhile the Pats still can't win in South Beach, Jay Cutler looked like he actually gave a damn what happened and Brady got straight beat up by the pass rush, makes next week's matchup with the Steelers even more epic, how great would it be if the Jags got the 2 seed and the bye, been a while since Brady had to battle on Wildcard weekend.
Elsewhere, the snow game was awesome! The NFC South is the most exciting division in football and they all play each other over the last 3 weeks so there is some really great games to look forward to. I f*****g LOVE December Football!!!
Stayed up for the 1st Q last night - God I'm getting old - had to hit the hay. Pats were in trouble early but if they win the last 3 games they are guaranteed to be No.1 seed so while they never would admit it, they certainly had an eye on next Sunday.
The Snow Game in Buffalo was great alright, spent most of Sunday evening watching it over better match-ups elsewhere.
You can't beat December football alright - throw in the Bowl madness and the CFP on New Years Eve and its a great time of the year for the Fuseball.
It was a nice thing to wake up to. Great to hear TB got milled out of it too. Hupp. Really looking forward to PIT-NE. As I'm sure everyone is really.
Watched our game v Jets; and we turned up. It was disappointing. We can't even blow a season correctly. ;)
Packers Panthers has potential as well on Sunday to be a whopper. Cmon Aaron!!!
FFS Raiders.
That is all.
What what?
Just expressing general discontent with the Raiders, having finally shown signs of life absolutely rolling over for Kansas and that's the season basically hosed. There is potential there but it ain't coming together for some reason.
I assumed but then I was hoping something else. Dammit.
Here's to the #1 seed and not knowing what a catch is.
Just give them the trophy already. I'll probably start watching again when that schmuck retires. FFS.
Unbelievable comeback by the Titans tonight. 21-3 down and win 22-21.
That's Smith done in KC now.
Yeah, that was a mad game. KC looked irresistible and then fell apart. Amazing sometimes that these teams with huge rosters are still massively reliant on one or two players.
Saints looked wonderful in fits last night. Brees is special. Let Carolina back into it though. They'll have to knock that out of their game.
NFC is looking great.
NO-MIN is looking tasty. Very very excited for that like I haven't a game in a long time. Super Bowl 50 perhaps...
Great Wildcard weekend, bar the Jags-Bills game. Pats get another cupcake playoff game before they face the Steelers who should overcome the Jags but it will be a tough physical game leaving them nice and softened up for the Patriots, who never seem to get any luck
NFC looks great, Falcons look set for another NFC championship game as Nick Foles is Nick Foles, so we could see a Superbowl rematch which could be interesting, but I'd prefer the winner of Saints-Vikes to go to the SB. Vikings playing a home Superbowl would make for an equally interesting narrative.
Don't need luck when you win at least 13 games per year. The #1 seed is supposed to get the easiest game. That's why its important.
Steelers to beat the Jags eventually.
I reckon Atlanta v New Orleans in the NFC.
Nick Foles v Matt Ryan
Case Keenum v Drew Brees.
Hint - the future Hall of Famers are in bold. Moneyline 4 team accumulator is roughly 7/2.
Ah that old tired argument. Which AFC division had the most wins this season? Let's check!
East 32
West 29
North 26
South 27
So the Patriots won 13 games in statistically the strongest Division.
Come back to me when we get to play the Browns twice a year, every year.
It's not a tired argument at all. I enjoy it.
It truly is easy to rile a Pats fan.
That took no time at all. :P
I'm sure you can do a run through over the years perhaps as well to completely disprove the argument even further...
---
Nice warm-up with the Titans though. And Steelers getting injured in practice. Sure it's handy. The NFC are gonna beat the crap out of each other. Softened up for ye.
---
It's almost as bad as a Kerryman complaining about the toughness of Munster on the basis that Tipperary and Clare got to the QF in one anomalous year or that half the teams in the AISF 2016 were from Munster, therefore Munster is tough...
People moaning about injuries when Patriots won the SB least year without Gronk and have played the entire season this year without the best slot receiver in modern times. Not to mind others on the IR list - Cannon, Ebner, Hightower. Key players like Gilislee, Hogan, Van Noy and Flowers also hurt, but no - the Steelers are getting hurt in practice!
NFC is good.
Kerry football something.
I've watched the first half of this.
I don't know why I thought it would go any other way. Pats got out of jail with a couple of decisions and now punishing the Titans. Sickening.
