Draw is made and Carrick are away to Glass. Bohs play Johnville in the other game. The amount of teams qualifying from your area depends on the number who enter from Round 1.

I think it is related to the number of clubs registered to the league...
There are only 64 qualify for the "out of town" in the FAI from the whole of the country. I think the Munster Breakdown is:
Cork AUL + West Cork League + MSL (Junior section) = 7
Limerick District = 6
Clare + Limerick Desmond + Kerry = 5 (I think)
North Tipp + South Tipp + East Cork West Waterford = 5 (I think)
Waterford & District = 2
So the Waterford & District league only gets two... But for sure those two that do come through will be real challengers for the title... So I don't think it is necessarily on the "strength" of the league but on the numbers in the leagues...
any word on the limerick area draw !
getting the fai junior cup draw is akin to getting the truth out of a politician.
i think that there are 8 premier teams left in the limk draw, what are the odds on there being 4 all premier ties???

Redcastle through to next stage of cup.Won 2-1 today
sligo/leitrim/roscommon 4th round draw is:
Arrow Harps v Carbury FC
City Utd v Ballinasloe Town
Strand Celtic v Manor Rangers
Carbury should be too strong for Arrow Harps, Manor have had a slow start to the season, GAA team won the championship this year but they're getting back on track again, Strand are ticking along nicely in the league, but i'll plump for Manor. If Ballinasloe are a patch on their team of a few years ago they could be too strong for City Utd eventhough City are top of the Super League.
But its cup football anything can happen. Its an achievement to get out of the section to the national draw, only three teams from the three counties make it.
thanks for the info....just going on reputations from maybe a while back.
both johnville and bohs are well known throughout junior soccer,as are carrick and cyrstal.
just said i'd ask as winning an fai does not mean you'll hold your players...it can mean a whole new rebuilding process after the senior clubs take the best of them.
case in point being fairview, won the trophy in 2004 and have not even won a local trophy since, nor a mind a provincial or national.
admittedly, after that, a host of players left to go league of ireland so it was always going to be tough
