Anyone know how many seats are in the home stand?- that was full! And there has been varying numbers on our crowd from 120 to 200!Quote:

My - completely uneducated - guess for Sligo-UCD was about 1200. Not a great crowd, although it did fill up from about 500 shortly before kick off. Main stand was maybe half full in total, a handful of people standing behind either goal and the blue stand was fuller than the last time I was down.
The Home stand wasn't full for the Shels game.. About 100 there and about 100 in the other stand.
very dissapointing crowd for Rovers -v- Galway smaller than both last years fixtures in the 1st division 1,000 max with 100/150 from united.I was shocked how small the crowd was.
No punts on crowd at Drogs v City yet ?
RTE say 1500 at Wexford yesterday but I'm certain it was closer to 2000

You have to allow for the fact that while last year Galway were one of the biggest games for Rovers this year they're one of the smallest. It's always the same when you go up, what was an eagerly anticipated fixture one year becomes relatively uninteresting the next.Quote:
