He hasn't played in Norwich's last 4 games. Last played on 20th July.
This guy won a bet when he gained and posed with that passport. The wager didn't specify what was to happen after that, so he's improvising as best he can for now.
Didn't he do this last season too and then play for Norwich on the opening day?
Well that was a week later and it's unclear where he'd even have been eligible in the first place. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt for that.

Looks like Trap believes it's just an injury issue. He suggests Pilkington is getting from game to game with injections and should probably just give himself time to recover.
