speaking of referees, i seen mcgrath referee a game recently, and i think he has really copped, seems to understand the players better now, one time you could never talk him, i think e even smiled that day i saw him!!
He took charge of the U21 game on Sat evening @ Celtic park, he made a very good job of it in fairness, very anonymous which is where you want refs to be!

Why should Castlebar people head off to Terryland or the Show Grounds instread of going to Celtic or Conway Park. Yes i agree and understand your point but people have and always will follow the Pro Clubs because its all about belonging to somthing big. But to cut our losses its more likley that people would follow the Irish pro league before they would the amatures.
