These two things can combine to work. If you get any sort of visible protection device (cast, boot, etc.) and can make her notice it, it can be an easy conversation starter. You can also make up a story about breaking it doing something heroic. Bought a plastic cover + car cradle for my work phone(old blackberry) from fleabay. Thing that came was for a snazzy Iphone. Sent off an email to the seller, heard nothing back so left a neg feedback comment and forgot about it. Woke up this morning to a big parcel. Seller apologised for the mixup, offered to issue a full refund and loads of 'blackberry accessories'(actually more Iphone stuff) as a goodwill offer if I rescind the neg feedback. I've now got about 20 things for a phone that I don't have.:(
I'm starving and need chips but won't have time to.get home to the chipper and into the house for the match.

Finally getting my internet sorted after 5 months of waiting tomorrow. On a sh*t note though, my dog of 15 years passed on Monday which was horrible. Awful day, never easy losing the family pet.
