You will be delighted to know that Bunratty picked up a piont off Avenue (1-1) to keep the title race that bit more interesting.:ball:Quote:

Clare cup - Last 16.
Moher Celtic 0 - 1 Shannon Olympic
Jay Reagan got the all important goal with a low driven shot from about 12 yards on about the 30 min mark. Poor match, in terrible conditions. Impossible to play football in what can only be described as an Atlantic gale.

Good to hear he is ok. I heard it was a bad knock.Quote:

Fancy lifford to bounce back from Rineanna defeat to go on to beat Avenue on sun. Avenue lucky to draw against a poor bunratty side that could be going down - neither team in great form but still fancy Lifford as they can score goals. - Avenue created very little. A win could be also be a psychological advantage for Lifford to go on to clinch the league.
Surprise result Newmarket losing again - Any truth in rumours of more red cards?
I watched the Cratloe v Newmarket game, definately no Red Cards in this one though I did think Docca was lucky not to get one. Cratloe were good value for the 1-0 win in a fairly tough game where both midfields played fairly well, helping the attacking play and also helping out in Defence. Young McMillan was outstanding for Cratloe as was the Right Back.Quote:

Might have a flutter on an accumulator for winners of 3 divisions and cup if anyone giving odds. 1st and 3rd div one horse races now.
Congrats to Manus on their win over Kilmaley, good to see them through on second attempt!!!Rock def on a role lately, they always play good football but lack consistency they will be tough for anyone playing them.Corofin had it tough against newmarket b but missed a hatful of chances. There will be some interesting quarter finals.
Thats a load of rubbish, most of the Bridge lads would love to win the cup, however we were let down badly at the weekend by a few who made a weekend out of the Paddy's day celebrations and we only had 11 players. Not making any excuses though, Rock were better than us on the day and were clearly far hungrier. I think they are a good outfit, strong in midfield and Niggles was very good up front. As for our league hopes, our form is not good at present but we would be hoping to kick start our claims on Sunday against a tough well organised Cratloe side. Any team that gets the rub of the green at this stage will win the league. 33 pts should do it!Quote:

i Agree 33 may be good enough, whoever has the best run in will win it,still a lot of the top teams to play each other and with the other 5 fighting for survival there will be no easy games.:ball: :ball:Quote:

Is there no other games on this week end, if so, why not???

All other teams are playing cup.
I got all four predictions wrong last week but will go with high flying Newtown to beat Bridge Celtic, sitting on the fence with Bunratty v Newmarket game and Bridge to beat Cratloe (well if we don't our season is over). Will probably be wrong again though.:ball: :ball:

Hopefully you will be wrong again, except the Newtown game..:D
If Newmarket fail to win on Sunday they will have to beat one of the title contenders to stay up. It's all very interesting. Newtown will finish on 33 if they beat Avenue, Bridge Utd and Bridge Celtic and I think 33 may be enough. Newtown are certainly the form team with Rineanna but have they left it too late??
From talking to the Newmarket lads , I think the reality of the situation has hit them. If they go down to the first it may take awhile for them to get back up. ( if ever ). It would be apity to be playing outside the top teir next season with the new paitch and set - up. As I said already big changes next season.................
Its interesting that no one is mentioning Lifford as premier winners ( except Lifford) . If I was to have a wager it would be Newtown.

Maybe not in your neck of the woods but lots of people in Ennis fancy Lifford. Lifford lads themselves very confident of turning over their town rivals Avenue tomorrow in cup and could be just the boost they need to go on and clinch the premier. These are the only two still with a chance of the double and I fancy Lifford to put one over on an overrated Avenue side. Saw them few times this season and didnt impress me.
Newmarket too good to go down but leaving it very late. You would have to fancy them to battle their way out of trouble.
Newtown and Bridge should come through their league games tomorrow and open up a gap over the two Ennis teams who are playing cup. Both playing relegation strugglers so my money is on league position to count.
Olympic to win 1st with Moher 2nd. Lifford certs for 3rd div.
