If Trapattoni fails (and please God he, or whoever is appointed, will not fail) then we as a nation will have to hold up our hands and say "you know what, maybe the players just aren't good enough to qualify". How could we blame a man with league titles in four different countries, who has won every single European and World club trophy, for failure?
