I thought it was a rule for european games. Either way it looks so unprofessional. How you cant have names on the back of shirts in this day and age ill never know. Its not hard.

Don’t see what the big deal is
Cork looked very unlucky going by the highlights on Soccer Republic. Definite penalty.
I see TNS are 3-0 up on Shkendija already, having lost the away leg 5-0. Dean Ebbe with the first. That would be one of the greatest ever European turnarounds if they could pull it off. Wonder what the odds are?
While we're waiting on Cork, here's a slightly nerdy little montage of all 75 Europa League first round clubs' home grounds. Some quality stadia in there, large and small. Not so sure about Derry's ground though! Probably a couple of other mistakes in there too, but still, a nice effort I think.
Just saw the Cork line up. Great to see them playing a striker, but surprised to see Sadlier on the bench.
Beattie at right back too, which is a positive move.
Would be an amazing result for TNS! Shkendija got to the EL Play-offs last year. Fairly pessimistic about the Cork game, but who knows, if they have a good first half.
I see Rangers - under Steven Gerrard - only drew with a mid-table Macedonian team today as well. They did win the home leg 2-0, but still. Shkendija finished 40 points ahead of Shkupi; TNS are playing the former while Rangers knocked out the latter. Pretty poor stuff from Rangers, though better than last year at least!
Suduva Marjampole just knocked out APOEL at the 1st hurdle. CL Quarter Finalists in 2011/12, regular EL Group Stage outfit. Lithuanian football clubs have had some great results recently. Shows you what is/should be capable with our clubs.
Any stream for the Cork game?

works for me
http://sport.tvp.pl/37959811/pilka-n...zawa-cork-city is fine for me
And there's the opener for Legia. Was coming, I think.
Shambolic defending. Why do LOI clubs shoot themselves in the foot like this?
Utterly awful defending. Game over, and it's a pity because in limited patches, Cork were doing okay.
Decent ging there from the Cork fella, says I practicing my Brian Kerr-ese.
1-0 would have been enough for a penalty shoot-out.
The goal definitely changes things.
Well, from a technical point, no, the scoring scenario doesn't change, but it gives Legia forward momentum. Cork went close from Sheppard, so they have a chance still I guess. Another Legia goal feels like it's not far away and that would put it beyond them. Cummins is doing well as is McNamee
Did anyone actually believe Cork would do anything in this game or tie at all?
A fourth for TNS in injury time! Kurtis Byrne (ex Pat's/Bohs/Dundalk) with it
And they hit the post earlier.
One more to go...
Edit - they ran out of time. 4-0 on the night; 4-5 on aggregate. Into the EL with them now.
That would have been some comeback. They must be sick after the 1st leg.
Good save by Cherrie.
Cork doing really well the last while. Just lacking a killer pass is all.
That long ball down Legia's right side is repeatedly working, good tactics from Cork
What in the utter feck was that pass about? Cork are killing themselves with stupid passing.
And just as I say that ... Clumsy penalty given, 2-0
Awful pass from mid, just as Cork were playing well.
One thing Cork are rubbish at are their set pieces, they have had quite a few without troubling the glk, which is disappointing when you play the J Caulfield way.
3 nil
Same old story. Basic mistakes; bad decision making; late breakaway goal. 2-0 would have been respectable and a fairer reflection of the game.
If we had taken our chances in the first leg, going over with a less to protect would've made it a different game. We were doing grand until the first goal, which was very disappointing, cherrie should've done better. The penalty that was given, was outside the box, so that was very unfortunate when you need luck to go your way. We should've changed things at half time, not with 12 minutes to go when the game is over.
We got the toughest draw and as expected it was too much for us. Hopefully the EL QR3 draw is kinder to us.
