Harps right back Josh Mailey played for Derry tonight in a friendly against Institute.
Aaron O Callaghan joins in the management team in Waterford.
Just spotted this is the news feed. Towell had offers from Poland and Turkey?!

It's just Aaron Callaghan. Had a great first year at Bohs and didn't stand a chance in the second when Heary led a revolt against him. He plays decent football too. On the ground and from the back. Gave us a 4-0 win over Rovers too. Took the poison chalice job at UCD and didn't work out. Very good football man by all accounts
He generally needs someone to rein him in a bit he's very hot headed and has been known to lose the support of his players because of it. Not sure Roddy is the ideal "good cop". He's an excellent coach though from everything I've ever heard.
Yeah not sure that's the right term actually. But when Russell left a lot of players left with him. Yous were always going down that year IMO. And he had a challenge on his hands where, from his point of view, he had a lot to lose but little to win.
Exactly
I see what you mean - although we didn't lose more players than we usually lose that year to be honest. I think we were always likely to be in a relegation battle, so from that point of view, he had little to lose, I'd have thought.
One of the main things that happened in 2014 was that one team half-time talk was moved to the dug-out and reconvened sans manager - no amount of players lost really gives a reason for that.
Anyways, as others have said, if he's joined the coaching staff with Waterford, then it's a very good appointment. He was with us before as a coach as well and it worked very well. But not sure about management, for whatever reason.
He's our new assistant. Good bit of LOI experience in the management now. Didn't know much about him so its great the above. Some positive signs for next season. Sounds like we'll be back to been competitive in the 2016 season. The less said about the last two seasons the better.
It was said last week by Roddy Aaron is coming on board, and he mentioned it again on the radio this week. Was also told Roddy said it in the program notes on the last game of the season against UCD, that night it was announced Michael Garland is joining the board.
Rovers about to offer Gavin Brennan another contract???
You couldn't make this stuff up.
He might look a bit awkward and clumpy at times, but he's a much better player than you seem to think.
I saw him play a few times last year, even one match at left back. Can be very effective on his day.
Ya Gavin Brennan always seems to do a decent job. Solid enough footballer in fairness.
Schlingermann not re signing for Drogs. Not quite sure where's off to, but word is it's Longford, one way or the other good luck to him, did very well last season for us.
Some talk of Elding being spotted in Limerick today.
Good to see Callaghan back involved in the LoI. Encourages players to play a nice style of soccer, maybe the influence of his Crewe Alex playing days. As been mentioned had a good first season at Bohs and the play-off v Galway was tighter than the score would suggest.
The UCD play-off?
Got what we deserved in that. Taking off a forward to put a centre-half up front for 45 minutes when trying to chase a game?
Definitely not Waterford for Schlingermann. They are signing a keeper who has played LOI before but who's currently on the USA. Haven't a name for you yet
None of the top teams need a goalkeeper who conceded 60 goals last season. He's a Premier League goalkeeper though so no idea why he'd go to Shels or Waterford.
