nenagh should be decent looking forward to the final between them and saints. In beating celtic and wildies convincingly they may even start as favourates against saints
I was at the Delaney cup semi final last night a very decent
Competitive game by no means a stroll
For saints , cashel played very well and kept going right to the end they are very fit / sharpe and with the players who were missing won't be any pushovers . As for saints it was a grt workout they are still not up to pace for a full 90 mins but did a lot of goods things in game and had to go for the full game as cashel kept at it , all in all a good game for both teams watched by a good crowd . One interesting spectator was ritchie ryan any update on his future there was lots of speculation from the cashel lads last night
I heard its between Carrick and Freebooters for his signature, we are training today and he is suppose to be with us for that so we will wait and see. Whats gone wrong with town, why is everyone leaving town. JJ Butler and Ian have both signed with us already.
According to the Clonmel Town website J.J. Butler has signed for them and he is listed on their panel of players. Do you mean Ian Barnes? Something must have gone wrong against Evergreen last Monday night in the Waterford tournament. I heard the goalkeeper was sent off, the manager ordered off also and, according to the Town website, the assistant manager has resigned.
Richie went training wit town saturday, butler has signed for two clubs so
no fixtures up for the weekend yet lads on tsdl website is there a full round of fixtures from all divisions this weekend for definate
Think so -- But going by TSDL's own rule they are meant to give Clubs 2 weeks notice, don't know what is going on with only 5 days left.
John delaney cup final fixed for 3 sunday in cooke park.michaels won the toss and get home advantage but north tipp officials taking charge.
From what i hear both clubs agreed to toss for home advantage.thats the reason as far as i know.
fixtures out lads. peake must have done something to upset fixtures secretary. there 1st 3 games are saints, town then local derby away to borris. talk about a tough start
predictions for tonight
town 2-1 celtic
saints 3-1 peake
cashel 3-2 wildies
borris 2-2 cahir
Saints v p villa game off tonight due to a request from villa it was only requested in last hour anyone know what's happening
Richie Ryan signs for fairview...... signed last night after playing a friendly with them..... big probs now for town
Just hear the game is off due to the very sad passing away by a players father for peake. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.
Yes I just heard about the death lord rest him
Also match refixed for Friday night
if he does(i don't think he will) best of luck to him
heard great reports from the fairview lads about him.
has played on a least three occasions for them
just to clarify, not involved in any team in the TDSL.
follow limerick junior football quite a lot though
Half time Town 2. Celtic 0. In goal for town is ritchie Ryan . He is sporting a beard though.
Full time. Clonmel Town 2. Clonmel Celtic 3. Confirmed. Ritchie Ryan's last game fot Ctfc.
Two Mile Borris 2 - 1 cahir
Richie mccarthy who has been on fire all preseason got both tonight, good game that could of goin either way. Great start to the season for borris, needed to win this one.
great result for borris. any result from cashel game? what were the 2 starting elevens in clonmel derby?
Cashel won 3/0 very comfortable the wilderness were very poor they didn't really make cashel work hard for the result
Celtic was Ronan Maher, Danny Madigan, Marky Power, Simon Scully, Craig Condon, Eddie Doyle, Stephen Ryan, Kevin Waters, Paul Shanahan, Brian Waters and Paddy O'Donnell
Not sure of all Towns players. Richie Ryan, Niall Kelly, Derek Loughnane, Ted O Connor, Ronan Stanley, Tony Scully, Levi Whelan, ? Tynan. The rest I dont know
Must be problems at town if a lot of the players leaving, will there be more?
cheers pony, thats a decent starting 11 from celtic with still a few more players to come in. great result for cashel too rightboy who got the goals for them
Ian hahessy scored early Henry Flynn got a peno and Shane Slattery , I know it's early doors but I think cashel will b ok but I think the willdes will struggle they were very young and light especially at the back
if villas game is being replayed on friday, will they still have the game against town on the sunday.RIP
Told you pal..... ritchie played his last game tonight... so now we'll c what you come back with
And as i said he played tonight and i have no doubt he will be playing again on Sunday, why would anyone want to leave Clonmel Town,he has won 7 or 8 league medals in his 9 or 10 years at the club,Munster medal, won irish caps and established himself as a massive part of their history and one of their great players, would be sad to see him leave if he does but common sense will prevail and knowing Ritchie he will stay loyal because that's the type of guy he is
Word in the Complex tonight, several sources, he told Jamie last night that the game this evening would be his last. Off to Fairview apparently.
Loyalty is somethin that is proved when things are not going well, thats something that Clonmel Town and St Michaels luckily for them have never had to contend with. As soon as things start to go wrong thats when you see who your loyal players are.
Told you bud... form signed as well
richie was poor tonight celtic came back well in the 2nd half after being out played in the 1st, great goal to win it
On the evidence of last night he would be of no value to town this year. He was very poor although peno should never have been given and was a terrible decision when he clearly won the ball. Don't know whats going on over there, he has however been a good player for the club in the past.......
Ya unfortunately for richie he has to hold his hands up for the first two celtic goals. All the talk about him leaving cant have been helpful last night. He is still a top keeper though. I thought celtic were by far the better side, the had town under heavy pressure all night but in saying that were gifted the two goals. Hard to know where town are going if they keep losing players, half of them didnt look up to it last night
