Ah ya, you still did, too many on here would peel an orange in their pocket, hence they wouldn't laugh.

Crafty stroke by Tets though, to nick into a newsagents, open up the ST and take a snap.

Slightly hyperbolic? Maybe. But I'm not complaining.
It reads like a fan's appraisal, so hyperbole is permitted.
'He was only 11 when his (Irish) mum passed away. From a young age he made the decision that, if ever the chance came, he would represent Ireland'
Hope he helps stuff Arsenal tomorrow as I have Leicester backed to the title and need a little help after they should have won today.
Stoke have done well against the top side (so far anyway, giving them the kiss of death as always lol).
I see Walters has a full beard going before kick off, probably didn't shave this morning.
He and Whelan both played well. Walters nearly won it at the end, Ramsey clearing his header off the line.
Think Whelan nearly won it too, had a good shot blocked, would have put me in the money, lol, a draw was a likely result I suppose but not great odds.

Although I expect Cech would have saved it anyway,
Cech would have saved it comfortably but even still it was excellent technique.
Disappointed as I had backed Stoke at a decent price, not far off though, Whelan had a shot blocked near the end too but Cech would
no doubt have saved it anyway, still they took two points off Arsenal.
Not sure if I'm allowed say this (:)), but I actually thought it was a pretty frustrating performance from Walters. Plenty industry but very little quality. His rushed, misplaced pass when they had Arsenal outnumbered on the counter attack in the first half was really poor and he was caught carelessly offside once or twice as well. He should have anticipated Adam's lovely cross near the end also but was too slow to react. Don't think he offered much threat overall, it was crying out for a bit of Shaqiri magic actually as Bojan had a poor day also. Thought Arnautovic was about the best of them and Whelan was very effective alright.
Goal and an assist today for Walters, on the day I leave him on the bench in my fantasy football team
Jonny won POTY award at the FAI awards. Brady and Wes were the others nominated but neither came close really.
MON gave an interview and had one or two quips for Tony O'Donoghue. I love MON but talk about a grudge. All in good fun maybe.
Connor Ronan won under 17 award. Had me worrying about Grealish!
What were the barbed quips? anything in the line of...
"well possibly Tony you had your face so far up the backside of the rte panel that you failed to notice that we played a good campaign and qualified on merit, but now you are getting all excited by the prospect of the bandwagon taking off, a bandwagon that was made possible by the effort of players and a management team that you were quick to deride with stupid moronic questions about their ability and their decisions"
I'd say he meant it, I mean, i think it was pretty instinctive, he got his foot on the ball and dropped it into the right area for a forward to
run onto, whether he specifically meant for that player is somewhat irrelevant, he put it into the right area ie not too close to the keeper,
so definitely intentional, I mean he could have pot it into row Z but that is hardly a sensible option. So good game for Walters.
Sat out training twice this week.
Does this lad have an issue that precludes him from participating in training sessions?
Yes. He's a lazy, flaky good for nothing useless lump, as you have pointed out plenty of times before he turned out to be our best player of the campaign by a country mile.
I wasn't saying that! It was a genuine question.
Keane is coming back from U.S. Brady was taken off injured at weekend. Long playing 90 minutes every week and back from injury. I get all of that.
Walters is in and out of the team at Stoke. You would think he'd be fresh as a daisy. But every Intl gathering he seems to sit out training sessions.
I was simply wondering if it was a long-term issue.
TBH, no one really cares about his training once he continues to deliver on the pitch as he has done all of the Euro campaign.
Walters is supposed to be one of the hardest work players on the pitch according to an article I read recently.
Born out by these stats, stamina 91
http://www.futhead.com/16/players/31...athan-walters/
Maybe he sits out training becasue of all the effort he puts in during the match?
In fact you would be hard pushed to find a higher stamina rathing but I did find Kevin De Bruyne on 92
You do know we're not playing them at FIFA, right?
I do, but they are a pretty decent guide, in fact we are lucky to have them, the game makers obviously put a lot of
effort into making their game realistic so we should be thankful for them, I mean opta do stats but you have to
pay for them now, however we can get these stats for free, I mean the company that makes the EA gets well
over $1 billion in revenue so they can afford to put a lot of time and money into gathering the data so I expect
their stats are better than what Opta provide (at a price!).
The Off The Ball guys were saying he's going back to Stoke for treatment on his hamstring, but that he's expected back to attend the Switzerland game and hopefully be involved for Tuesday. They were talking about how "it's the most Jonathan Walters thing ever" to make such an effort even though he can't play. Now, if only we could get the lazy scoundrel to do a bit of training.
Has come on for Stoke for the last half hour.
I didn't see that coming. He and Arter must have gone to Lourdes to make such miraculous recoveries.
It was the Holy Walters what did it. ;)
Linked with Middlesbrough.

Could see it happening.
Results of the vote at the bottom are interesting.
250th appearance for Stoke last night in the League Cup
Shay Given impresses but Jon Walters struggles in Stoke loss at Evertonhttp://www.espnfc.com/club/stoke-cit...oss-at-evertonQuote:
FW Jon Walters, 4 -- Looking a spent force with each and every poor showing from the bench and he was the wrong player to bring into a side needing pace through the middle. An unforgivable miss having been given the chance to put the ball into an open net by Arnautovic.
The commentators were blaming Walters for not getting on the end of Arnautovic's cross too but I thought he dropped back into the right position and Arnautovic just didn't pick him out.
GIVEN: Fully to blame… for the fact it wasn't a heavier defeat on his 450th Premier League appearance 7
WHELAN: One terrific volley during Stoke's early purple patch but could do nothing about goal deluge at wrong end 6
WALTERS: A couple of mis-cues with half chances on a frustrating return to the starting line up 6
