Thats not correct we tried to get Bohs shels and Pats thrown out because Rovers had the Dublin Licence but it was ruled out of order :)
Could be two teams from Limerick easily , we had 3 in Galway before.
Leaving aside a few simple things like Finance and Logic of course.
Are licenses out today? Finn harps announced they got a premier license on Facebook
Shels confirmed theirs too.
If they both get a licence the limerick derby will draw a crowd
Forgive them lord for they know not what they do,having seen fit to making a b-lls of their first effort, they now do not the real meaning of their second.....do yee Treaty.
Limerick United aren't applying until next season lads. I'm told Thursday will be when we hear more about licenses

I like Treaty United's theme song. It even features both the Seniors and Youths training. Not sure about the choice of jerseys, they look skin tight...
Today is licensing day, right?
Genuinely wondering whether Limerick will get one or not.
By any standard, they should not, but you have to wonder if the FAI have the stomach for the fight O'Sullivan would put up.
I think the "new fai" will have the stomach compared to the old one.
The last thing they need is Limerick starting up and folding in 3 months when POS can't find someone to invest the kind of money you need to run a team properly.
What's the feelings among other Limerick FC fans? I have my fingers and toes crossed that Limerick fail miserably and are refused the license, I probably won't attend games if the club does get a licence and I'd say nobody will attend IF they get a licence.
Dont know if anyone saw it but there was a great piece by Aidan Fitzmaurice in Herald and Irish independent saying that there could be six clubs that could not get a licence at all. Athlone didnt send anyone up yesterday so I wonder could they be in trouble also?
I'd accepted the death of POS' Limerick FC, and I'll admit the thought of supporting the zombified corpse as it shuffles along gives me some pause. The only thing that will make POS give up is for the club to fully die, and paying into games, even if it's my usual handful owing to residence elsewhere, only slows that process down. Will probably still try and make some Dublin away games though.
So the Treaty [utd] is broken, what a farcical embarrassment they have been in their short existence ,the judgement[lack of] shown by the people involved messrs Conn Murray/Tommy Barrett will cling for a long time to come, next chapter please.
Limerick fc tweeting tonight looking for players in all age categories .....did they get a licence?
