How have Mountshannon improved so much this year? Have they signed many players? They were poor last year and its a big surprise to see them flying in the League. Fair play to them and looking at the league table it looks like it will be a tighter league than previous years.
I pressume they just have an influx of new players coming through .. Not sure what their underage setup is like but something's working out there. Fair play to them it's great to see
The "clapdance" that Tom Botcher has them doing for years in the warm up is finally reaping some rewards:D

Great result for bridge utd today....fair play to them. It looks like the drop down a division has been great for them to get their young players gain experience. Darren Murphy, Darragh fitz and John Mulready are 3 excellent young players

Just heard 2 Newmarket , Rhine and bunratty managers could be all rumours though. Tough journey for avenue in the morning best of luck with that

bridge lost 1 nil, by all accounts they gave a great showing in the second half but just couldnt get the goal they needed. John Mulready was supposed to have made 4 or 5 worldclass saves aswell though, not surprised by that as he is a very good goalkeeper. wins for tulla, avenue and newmarket today in the league. any reports from tulla or newmarket?
Bridge deserved extra-time anyway. TEK absolutely blessed to get out of there without conceding. TEK had a good chance to go 2 up early in 2nd half with a one-on-one but it was well saved. Bridge well on top after that and missed 2 or 3 golden opportunities to equalise
