I read the Wiki article on the poxy river Clyde and still didn't see anything that would fit (well by read I mean opened and had a quick look).

Dearie me what a hornet's nest has been stirred up!
It doesn't, you're grand!
Ah but the next one...
I was thinking more in terms of googling the potential answer (and there was only two above) and Clyde together. Though it's not the first item returned, there are several on the first page that point to the answer.
It would seem that none of ye are big golf fans either? Peter Alliss talks about little else for a whole week every 2nd or 3rd summer.
Anyway, I'll get me coat.
I see. So we're on Ailsa? Are you trying to turn this into a competition to get the most awkward answer to form the next clue with? :p
Ha, looks that way! Nah genuinely that was the first thing that came into my head when the River Clyde answer came up. And no doubt purely from watching the Opens at Troon and Turnberry over the years. That probably should be alarming on some level or other.
So I somehow got this clue right by completely going off-the-wall and still ended up wrong!
Stann, how I loathe thee!
Anyway...
Ailsa as a woman wouldn't be considered hot but this bird was definitely flaming! (5)
This when on procession through New South Wales' capital city is not what you'd think. Eric Bristow might approve though. Bully for him! (4)
Dart through this terminus, down the Wicklow Way (10)
Fairly sure Sydney is the NSW capital, BonnieShels?

Greystones, Kinnegad or Ashbourne could all be notches on this belt (8)
It is indeed.
This (The Dart) when on procession (parade) through New South Wales' capital city (Sydney) is not what you'd think (a train). Eric Bristow (Darts player) might approve though. Bully for him!

Got Greystones but couldn't come up with any clues.
G'wan, Tets! Gizza clue!
er, well this is embarassing, I can't remember what the answer is!
Can you post your guesses, and if it's one of them hopefully I'll remember it!
I reckon it's underground.
Bump! Just to get things rolling again...
Tets' memory went underground - at least, that's Mr Freud located it. (11,4)
