are you so sure you forget knockainey and bruff are neighbours and people talk about matches afterwards and the keeper himself said to us he got a hand to it!!! liable for the ref for what? giving my opinion you might aswell shut down this site if your going to gag people and send them private messages telling them to take down posts.your getting very upset by it by the looks of it you are the ref??

SHELBOURNE v KNOCKAINEY
BRUFF v KILMALLOCK
CAPPAMORE v GERALDINES
HOSPITAL v SHANNON HIBS (PARK)
this league seems to be being forgotten about, and with a bad winter potentially ahead of us i think we can all get ready for lots of matches being crammed into a week sometime in april or may
Well for the likes of bruff and knock they will have to play catch up. I think 3 out of the 4 matches in the faI r 3 will go through. best of luck.
You have atribituted comments that were said to and from the referee, I spoke to him yesterday and again today and he said that no one from Bruff or Knockainey expressed concerns either prior or during the game.
Also some Bruff players asked him after he waited 15mins for the fog to clear to restart the match and he also said, in disagreement ot your point, that the fog when he abandoned the match was substantally heavier than at the start of the game.
He also told me the score of the game at the time was immeterial to his decision to abandon the game.
ya SOME players asked for it to be played just like SOME players said it before the match for it not to be played i didnt say every bruff player talked to the ref when he was checking the boots i said a few. if the score had nothing to do with it its just a funny coincedence as soon as they score he called it off straight away after the kick off and wrongly disallowed a bruff goal stopping the game going to 2-0 jst a few mins before.seems you know the name of the player who took the free you must of been at the match were you??
I read your first comment and spoke to the referee, he said who you were as soon as I read the comment to him. I met him today and he said NO ONE from either side expressed concerns prior or during the match. As for the score being 1:1, that never crossed his mind when he made his decision (I asked him out straight and he said honestly it never crossed his mind).
I was not at the match but I can tell you he is livid about some of your comments.
The name The Dark Knight sounds like a good Referee username imo
haha your getting awful worked up about it for a fella that wasnt there and if you say your not the ref then to be honest a fella that it realy doesnt concern and your running back and forth writing up here what your hearing.when i was there so im writing up what i seen..everyone has there right to voice their opinions and thats all i was doing if he's livid about that thats his own business hes old enough to talk for himself and im sure he's had worse things said about him then that..
from comments above, the ref seemed to do his best to allow the game to go ahead. i gather that inthe situation, like any sunday morning, everyone wanted to play the game. a few may have said it shouldnt but everyone does just wanna play... esp after gettin outta bed so early. if there were genuine concerns (not a few jokey comments as the ref checks boots), then the captain of either team should ask him (on behalf of the team) to rethink his decision.
sayin that, he could have just wnted the game to go ahead, then abandon it so he could get his full fee :P ha

athlunkard 1-3 knockainey,
well done to knockainey today against us, well deserved, we were not at the races, in what might have been a run of 20 league games undefeted going back to 2A last year, it was not to be, we were not at the races and Knockainey took full advantage. and with the cappa v conlish drawing a great weekend for K'ainey. it makes for a very exiting 2nd half of the season.
Anyone know how the other 2 matchs went?
