Yes gearysfan Avenue are still top and top by a nice few points. It's their league to lose now in all fairness. Although its a big help when you get to play the worst team in the league twice in the opening 8 games when other teams haven't played Avenue or the Burren once yet!Quote:

Dont agree wit that statement at all, everybody has to play the same games and i m sure many teams would be glad not to have played burren away in probably the worst weather conditions possible to play a game in...gale force wind,hailstone,rain and freezing cold! results elsewhere were surprising though

looking at the league tabel burren quite clearly arent the the worst team in the league
and avenue have played 8 almost half way thru the set of fixtures so its not like they played burren 1sr and 2nd an got handy points. by all accounts it was horrible conditions up there so lay off the conspiracy theories and concentrate on catching them, not using excuses etc to belittle them
