What else would you expect from the biggest mouth on here... Armshaw being a perennial substitute over the last four seasons definitely had nothing to do with him leaving Treaty though.

Aisling Annacotty must've offered him €100 a week.

I didn't say that. We did however comply with our obligations as per that contract.

Do people on here seriously think an LOI club would hand out a 4 year deal without clauses covering if things went awry?

Adam Lennon has signed for Wexford FC and has gotten a significant pay rise in the process

You shouldn't say things about yourself.

Willie Armshaw was the first Treaty player to make 100+ apps, think he was an unused sub less than a half dozen times. He was valued.

Me saying that he's after getting significant pay rise isn't sour grapes, it's a fact. He was a great servant. There are lads that aren't half the player he is coining it in Limerick, he is too and fair play to him, but would have been good to see him stay in the league.

Some of the comments on here you'd swear he was the second coming of Christ.

I didn’t say you said that either. I just asked the question because I genuinely wanted to know, as it was announced that he had left the club due to family reasons but you suggested he was sacked

Oh Armshaw was hugely valued by the mastermind that is Tommy Barrett alright... how many of those 100 games + were starts? But he left Treaty for the big bucks at Aisling Annacotty alright... :o

He was good for Treaty last year but wasn't retained/didn't sign back for whatever reason and been out the game since.

No other club in the LOI could've matched the crazy wages he's getting off the mighty Aisling Annacotty, that's the only thing that could've tempted him to leave Treaty and League of Ireland football.

I'm sorry that you think I'm a spoof and a mouth.

He left a month ago, he only joined Aisling Annacotty yesterday. Personal reasons were cited for him leaving. The fact that he's getting a few bob playing junior is not the sole reason he left Treaty, but he is getting a few bob and fair play to him. Would have been nice to see him stay in the league even if it would probably bite Treaty on the ass.

From my veeeeery vague and distant anecdotal knowledge of the junior scene around there, it's normal enough for a couple very good players to be paid decent side huddle money.. I have no idea how the economics of it works, but fair play to them.

Wasn't good at Harps either. Lovely lad, really hope he does well, but I wouldn't have huge hopes for him.
