I'd guess Brennan meant something like "Noel King definitely made enquiries" but a combination of a typo or two and auto-correct ballsed it up.

Rob Brennan is very excitable when it comes to these things.
Just checked him out on Soccerbase.
3 league appearances this season.
Kammy's eligible though.

Hogan stretchered off for Villa late on against Newcastle.
Looks like it could be a bad one.
1 goal in 10 appearances for him after today.
I'm not sure that post by Feargal Brennan adds up.
- The lack of "granny rule" players is the reason the relationship between the team and supporters in the last couple of years has been rebuilt;
- We want to reignite the commitment of supporters in a past era: late 1980's;
- Charltons team had the most non_Irish born players.
. does this really add up!
Best of luck to the lad, and a nice hand from the Newcastle fans as he went off on stretcher.

Callum Robinson is eligible; Connor Mahoney is waiting for England.

I'm sure we will hear about Robinson's interest (or lack of) in about three weeks time..
Mahoney can wait away. Hopefully Robinson is eager. Looks a really good player.
Mahoney seems to be another one in dreamland but I expect Robinson to play for us. Anyone know if Reading's regular centre half Liam Moore is eligible?

Most footballers would respond if you asked them.
Although he could just as easily have Scottish origins with a name like that.
Been asked twice on twitter, but didn't answer: https://twitter.com/search?f=tweets&...c=typd&lang=en
I have no knowledge of his situation Danny. I just think that with the influence of the Irish lads at the club now, added to the fact that he has less than zero of a chance of an England call-up, that he would be mad not to accept our invitation.
His dad Peter also retweeted Rob Brennan's post that the FAI were looking into Callum's eligibility.
We were playing such thrilling football before he came along too, involved in seven goal thrillers with Cyprus and such. The recession also kicked into gear shortly after his appointment in 2008 and the first signs of recovery surfaced after his departure in 2013. Hardly a coincidence. :)
