Thought there was a bigger Bohs crowd there than usual, but fewer from Shels.Quote:

i was suprised at the Derry Crowd saturday night. a maximum of 2,500. very few outside the stand
Given the seating was packed to capacity the crowd was well over 2,500. I would say approx 3,250
I was looking at the photos of the stand Poor Student took during the second half, and I'm not so confident in that 150 figure any more.Quote:

No. Don't you understand the difference between thinking that a source is generally unreliable and wrong in a specific instance?Quote:

I did a count and got 151. But that would include club officials, players, others who didn't pay (I only got in at half-time), etc and who probably wouldn't be in an official count. (Where'd that official figure come from, anyway?) I was counting from the Des Kelly stand though, so I wouldn't be surprised if I counted a gray space as a person wearing a gray jumper or something. But it was fairly low alright. Had a conversation with someone in the Des Kelly from Block G in the Jodi at one stage. (I say conversation...it actually went "Rogers you w@nker!" "Shut the f*ck up, there's kids present!"...and the person replying was only about 14...)
Incidentally, "official" figures are often nonsense in this league. But they're often stupidly high, not low.
My God UCD fans would fight over bad punctuation FFS!Quote:

what was at the Longford game. The Main stand was less than half full and about another 100 around the place.
Approximately 450-500 at Bray and that's being generous.
I counted 190 in the seats, 87 at the Bray Bowl end - 277.
Allowing for 180-230 standing along the other side of the ground, buying a cup of tea, at the toilet, etc. is probably an overestimate.
According to rte 800 at the longford game last night according to others nearly 1000. Cant say from my own view as I aint there to see no more.
I would have said around 500. If you put everyone into the stand no chance of even being half full.Quote:

WLR FM gave 800 as the paying attendance provided to them by the Club, which doesnt include concessionaries and they were plenty of them.
I'll stand by my initial guestimate of just over 1000.
Those figures aren't necessarily accurate though.Quote:

Terrible attendance at Shels V Bangor - 600-800. Bangor had an OK crowd but it wasn't a bad away travelling support for a Saturday night! ;) :D :o
Roughly between 700-800 at the Bray Vs Kildare cup game.
at Mels less than 400 and the smallest ever for an FAI Cup tie involving these two teams.Last cup tie there about 5 yrs ago there were over 2500 at it.
Was told that 330 adults paid in. Add students, kids and passes - gufct your estimate may be slightly low, but not by much.
Where is Bangor anyway?Quote:

Where is it all going wrong ???? The standard of football and facilities have improved , there wasno direct competition from sky and yet the overall attendances seem to be at an all time low for the weekend , not looking at individual matches but overall appears to be pathetic.
Early cup games often have ****e attendances. :confused:Quote:
