Whose out candy, besides Duffy?

Wouldn't have made any difference to either for rovers.
No extra money, and I think club coefficient is now based on the round you reach, not individual match results.
It would have meant an extra 0.125 for the country coefficient, which just decides what round clubs start in.
And it'd be nice to know we can win two legs against a Maltese side, which we've still never done in six meetings. That'd be a sign of the progress we're always looking for.
I said last night i would have liked us to push on but to be honest if we had done that and shipped a goal people would have said Bradser was a mug.
If they had scored we could have gone up a few levels i believe.
The sight of Gaffney picking up the ball and dribbling back into his own half multiple times summed it up,
Rovers first leg away to Ludogorets confirmed for RTÉ.
Ahhhh and here I was hoping for Rovers to get the win for club coefficient points, and it's not like that anymore? I'm getting too old to keep up with how this stuff works >.>
Klaksvik of the Faroe Islands 2 up on Bodo/Glimt coming into half time after losing the away leg 3 nil!
Watching that game myself, fascinating to watch to be honest.
No easy games. Malmö scrapped through last night in Iceland 6-5 on agg.
Bodo Glimt with a goal, likely game over now, the Vikingur v Malmo game last night was a joy to watch, definitely no easy games it would appear.
I see Rovers club ranking now 141 with a Co-efficient of 9.000. You would expect that should have them seeded again next season in CLQ1
3- 1Klaksvik now with 5 minutes left and they should have made it 4!!!
Only watched the last 5 minutes of that game and it was fun,Faroes team unlucky not to bring it to extra time!
123rd minute winner from Slovan Bratislava after being 1 down and going out with 5 minutes of extra time left!
93rd minute equaliser for Linfield!
Rovers looked comfortable last night and dealt with Hibernians mostly. Will be interesting to see if the words meet the speak from Bradley in the next round hopefully he more than anyone has learnt from last year's outings
Well I'd say he learned not to go into big european games with half the team crocked but I'm not sure we learned anything from last year that's going to help against the 10 time Bulgarian champions who've only been in the top division for 10 years....
But I'm all ears if you've got some lessons to dish out?
Now that we can actually see how the next round shapes up there's actually a massive opportunity here for Rovers if they can come out on the right side of the draw again.
Funnily enough I think they actually now have a better chance of getting into the Europa league than the Conference league.
Assuming they lose the next round, the EL playoff will be against one of the 9 losers from UCLQ2.
Shkupi, HJK, Linfield, Zalgiris, Pyunik/Dudelange would all be close enough to 50/50 ties.
Ferencváros Match 1 Slovan Bratislava Dinamo Zagreb Match 2 Shkupi Qarabağ Match 3 Zurich HJK Match 4 Viktoria Plzeň Linfield Match 5 Bodř/Glimt Žalgiris Match 6 Malmö FF Ludogorets Razgrad Match 7 Shamrock Rovers Maribor Match 8 Sheriff Tiraspol Maccabi Haifa Match 9 Olympiacos Pyunik Match 10 F91 Dudelange
Whereas looking at potential ECL PO opponents it will be one of 5 of the following.
Which most likely will include the Poles, Romanians and Kazkh teams.
Team 1 Agg. Team 2 Shakhtyor Soligorsk Bye N/A RFS Bye N/A La Fiorita Match 1 Ballkani Víkingur Reykjavík Match 2 TNS Sutjeska Nikšić Match 3 KÍ Klaksvík Hibernians Match 4 FCI Levadia Tirana Match 5 Zrinjski Lech Poznań Match 6 Dinamo Batumi Cluj Match 7 Inter Club d'Escaldes Tobol Match 8 Lincoln Red Imps
Lots of football still to be played, but basically from an LOI perspective we don't want any underdogs winning in the UCLQ2 ties and we are hoping for some shocks in the ECL Champions path.
Slovan Bratislava’s winning goal tonight, the keeper makes our couple look half decent!

Terrible setup defending that corner. No one at the near post, everyone including the keeper a few yards away from goals - that was an invitation for a curled attempt.
What attendance are Sligo Rovers expecting against Balla tonight, any news on ticket sales?
There are three seated stands in the Showgrounds giving a total seated capacity of 4,000. The Treacy Avenue stand has a capacity of 1,800 seats. Opposite that is the Jinks Avenue stand which has 900 seats. The third stand is the Volkswagen Bank End which is behind the goals at the opposite end and has 1,300 seats but is uncovered.
Think it’s 3,750 for Europe as no standing
Is the Derry game on the box/online ?
247tv are showing it.

Pretty sure it's the same 247 that run the LOITV production.
Cool, just bought, hopefully commentary too
Mickey Duffy on bench for Derry, some 2 months ahead of schedule. Massive bonus.
Derry have missed 2 good chances already,Akintunde with a bad one…
Can't afford to waste those chances...
Also, sounds like Gru from Despicable Me is commentating! 😂
Derry 1-0 down and B36 Torshavn go 1-0 up - means we've actually fallen behind the Faroese league in the UEFA rankings.
Long way to go this season (including Sligo who should win this evening) and obviously the Faroese have been getting points in preliminary rounds we got a bye through - but still and all...
Ludogorets v Shamrock Rovers will on RTÉ2 next Tuesday.

I get the feeling there is money floating around Latvian football. Their clubs seem to be doing a lot better in Europe. Having been over there it is full of Russians and Russian money so maybe no surprise.
Flora Tallin (remember them) Were 2-0 up
on the night, away from home with a little over 30 minutes to play and 3-0 up on agg. They are now 4-2 down (4-3 on agg.)in the match, deep into extra time and also down to 9 men. Football, eh!
Don’t do it Sligo!
Derry could play another leg of this match and you feel they would still not score. 2 nil down too.
