Greenwood 1-2 Pearse
Carrigtwohill had no game Oldlegs, Neither did Springfield.
any report from kanturk and glen celtic?how did the game go donaldihno?
Donald will be in the bed by now dreaming of the win! Arrived up there after half an hour just in time to see Kanturk striker burst through to finish well. Chap next to me said that was the FIFTH goal and the game was so open it could have been 5-5. John Corcoran tucked away a peno just before half time for 3-3. Second half saw a lot of Possession for the Glen but the nearest to a goal was a great header taken off the line by the outstanding Johnny Lynch. Kanturks backline played well ...incl Donaldino at left full. Also outmuscled the Glen in midfield and were dominant in the air. Kanturk scored a good fourth goal and were always dangerous on the break. The glen keeper had a few dodgy moments too.
Johnny Corcoran had a couple of snapshots but was well marshalled otherwise, Barry Donovan never stopped running and Mark Nolan was good but Glen looked a little off colour from what ive seen them previously. Kanturks fifth finished it off and a deserved win on the night.
Just about awake hill..
Ya everything you said there..3-3 at half time, could have been 6-6..
You missed 3 cracking goals, two 25 yarders from Nolan nd cockery and a free kick from johny!
Any news on coachford and macroom?
Coachford 6 Macroom 2, looks like 4 teams in the group can qualify
Another match with 8 goals..
That really opens up the group.
Macroom played 4 points 6
Coachford played 3 points 4
Kanturk played 2 points 4
Glen Celtic played 3 points 3
Gratten played 1 points 0
Macroom played 3 I mean
have you any idea what fixtures are left and i too was at the game it was a cracker at times but kanturk were better....ref could have been better!!

Blarney Street 4 v 2 Blackstone. An entertaining game but we come away disapointed. Positive is that we took a big step up from 12 months ago when we met the Street. Good crowd out on a lovely night for football. Entertaining game for the masses who included Radio with his 20k wallet and Zico who sends his love!! Street started much better and took the lead about 20 in while I fought with some damn combination lock!! Blackstone were denied an equaliser by a controversial offside call but it seemed to wake us and we dominated to the break and equalised on 40. We didn't want the break and Street were on top after the restart. 2-1 and 3-1 were sloppy from our point of View but the last two goals were magic. 3-2 for about two minutes and 4-2. We move on disapointed but our destiny still in our own hands.
did he talk to hubba .footie was well on show there ...flintstone was there to .blackstone looked ok horse.blarney st very good loads of hair gel on show ..lmao
lads
any update on who is putting up the fixtures for next week ?? ( Instead of Barry )
i think as far as premier goes you cant look past park, killumney and id say coachford as well.blarney st have some good players but will they step up to the plate when needed its a tough league and park and killumney have that winning mentalty.
i thought the mossi wasnt a guide u can judge that but you will see whos who ..6 games in.coachford my bet .
1st Carrigtwohill Utd A 2nd Innishvilla there my bet
Killumney carrigtwohill double for me
I think the premier a is wide open, mossie linnane comp is not a good guideline of how a team will fair as some groups are obviously stronger than others. Amazing how quiet the forum has gone the last few days after a few teams results have gone poorly! Anyway looking forward to the season and the banter with everyone.
Great shout there sharpshooter !!
Douglas 2 Carrig 2 good game of ball to watch . Douglas went 1 nil up after 15 mins a quick free kick to strikers feet a neat turn and strike good finish . Douglas well on top and well worth the 1 nil lead at half time . Second half ball over top and Douglas striker won the race and neat finish between keepers legs after 2 mins of restart . Douglas well on top and playing some neat football holding ball well the should have finished game off hit post missed 2 1 on 1's that would have finished game . But Carrig managed to pull goal back on the 82 or so minute . And in Fergie time from a corner made it 2 all good game of ball from both sides but I think Douglas will be kicking themselves that they didn't get all 3 points . I'd happily go watch either of these sides playing again. Douglas will be very hard to beat at home this year
ya played up there tricky pitch and very windy too !!!
Ya Oldlegs spot on, we were lucky to get a point tonight, Douglas Hall won't be happy conceding two late goals, but we showed a lot of determination to dig it out, we have some amount of players in pain after playing on that surface, I hate all weather pitches, just glad that's out of the way now, won't be an easy place for any team to go.
some good games today castleview and blackstone should be an interesting game a win for the view will put pressure on park in that group kanturk and macroom an other good match up.heard a rumour about change of managment in grattan bit early in season for that you would think.best of luck to all this weekend we should have games on a least.
What's the best game on today in the Mossie in 2 minds thinking Pearse Kilumney game
theres an easy prem a this year who ever wants it i think .
Kanturk A 5 Macroom 2
Did anyone hear anything about fixtures for next week!

I was also at the killumney game and I thought pearses pressure forced killumney into mistakes therefore I wouldn't say they gifted them the goals ! Was very impressed by killumney s style of play but wen they needed to put in the odd long ball they were very stubborn and tried to play there way through pearses well organised defence.
what way are the mossie linane groups panning out whos in and whos out cheers ryano for fixtures.if clubs are or members on this site with barry been unavailible at the moment could nt they put their results on here just to make it easier for everyone just a thought.

What dates are the FAI rounds? Lost 4-3 to Castleview yesterday. Report on our Facebook page. It was practically their 19s side from last season. Very good side. Three times we equalised and could have and should have been four times. Would like to have seen how the young guys reacted to going behind. Not getting much luck, but if it evens itself out over a season...... I look forward to it!!
13 14 of october are 2 round dates their is fai thread open with all dates
