He's the only one I've seen so far.

Ireland beat Sweden 1-0, with a goal from Celtic's Fiacre Kelleher
Doolin seems to be ecstatic after what he considers a great win over tough opposition.

2 up at half time. stokes and manning. anyone seen much of manning at galway?
He's decent. Drifts in and out of games, little lightweight. Hopefully we hold onto him next season.

finished 2-2
Any idea where the games will be played in November as its not up on the UEFA site as of yet?

guardian picked out most promising youngster at each premier club this lad the only irish one
Khius Metz of Burnley...
It appears to me that all the players in there were English-born with 4 representing different nations at international level (Willard-Scotland, Lewis-Wales, Metz-Ireland and Carter-Viclers-USA).
liamoo11 - I wouldn't worry about it too much. To be fair, you're either involved in the underage setup at club level, or you keep a really close eye, so I'd always follow your posts on the underage setup.
The reason I say don't worry is that as the Premier League continues to grow, and football starts developing in even more countries, then it's natural that Irish players are going to feel the squeeze.
I have one example that I can stand over, albeit from about 15 yrs ago. At the time, the boy was a very-well regarded underage player in Dublin, and he was courted by Arsenal. They promised everything. Player joined Arsenal. Within 3 weeks, Arsenal signed the Spanish and Italian under 16 captains, who just so happened to play in his place.
Now that fella went on to become an Irish international, despite a circuitous route. He wouldn't have featured on any list coming out of his club, because he has two International captains in his way, but he was extremely decent in his own right, and another player who would have had a better career on the continent.
That was 15 years ago, and the Premier League has exploded since then. The academies of Premier League clubs has become so big, from what I've looked into anyway, that some of the most influential transfers a club makes, isn't necessarily players, but what directors, coaches and scouts of a rival academy.
What are the keepers like in the under 19 squad?
Reason I ask is there's a very good 'keeper at Manchester United with strong Irish family links called Kieran O'Hara (born April '96) who has played for England schools but not getting into their international youth teams.
Last season it was Eric Grimes, who seems to be highly rated at Leeds but hasn't gotten close to the senior team so far. I think he's overage now. Liam Bossin from Anderlecht was his understudy last year, but he seems to have been overtaken so far by Sunderland's Peter Burke, who I don't know much about. Doolin only picks two goalkeepers at a time so there aren't many names to talk about.
squad announced for U19 qualifiers in Waterford and Wexford: http://www.fai.ie/ireland/news/dooli...u19-qualifiers
No Crowley.

check out the table cloth in the picture classix mrs goyle
also, no Dan Cleary or Corey Whelan from Liverpool, Jack Byrne is with the U21s but it was mentioned earlier in the year he could play these qualifiers with the U19s
Maybe the pool have a champ league under 19 game that clashes with the qualifiers. I cant see paul doolin leaving out his best players for no good reason. All those 3 played really wel against real madrid on tuesday especially o hanlon some of his passing is sublime.
Switzerland only managed to put 8 past Gibraltar earlier. We play Malta at 19.45
To be absolutely fair, Doolin knows they're going to have at worst a 2-1 final table, and qualify. If it gives him some scope further on in the elite phase, and gets him the opportunity to look a couple of fringe options then no real worries. It won't make much difference winning or coming second when it gets to the elite draw.
might make the Gibraltar game on Saturday, depends on a few things falling into place but it's looking likely
Bossin, Baba (c), Moseley, Kelleher, Toner, Dimaio, Grego-Cox, Charsley, Manning, Stokes, Coustrain.
An hour gone and still preacriously poised at 1-0 Ireland, Eoghan Stokes prodding home Ryan Manning's early cross. Ireland have had the vast majority of the play and chance but Malta hanging in there.
Finished 1-0 but no suggestion we were ever in danger of conceding.
3-1 up against Gibraltar at half time.
Gibraltar's first ever official competitive goal I think.
finished 4-1, qualified for the second round with a game to spare.
Swiss beat Malta 7-1 and top the group on goal difference, 15 goals in two games!

Switzerland must have scored from kickoff or something!
Is it just me but do Turkes always score when we play the Swiss?
Equalised through QPR's Greco-Cox right after half time but Noe Baba was sent off just after.
