34th would be about right, wouldn't it? We were one of 5 times that fell at the play-off stage to qualify for the 32-team World Cup.
The rankings can be flawed, but think they have us about right too. We can't expect to really break the top 20 or 25 until we win some big games.

Well Holland got to the final of the World Cup - there wouldn't be a huge difference in their points gain from the tournament. Both teams only have one or two losses in the past 2-3 years so they'd never be that far off one another.
We just seem stuck on 31.
