clubs should have proper dressing rooms + showers but a few of the newer additions dont (for senior anyway, not sure about junior)
greenwood might go junior if they move? pearse dropped down last summer.

Would them teams be cannon fodder if the went senior?
Likes of kilreen, pearse, innishvilla havent lasted senior but were very competitive aul.
Pearse now playing munster junior div 4 - it's about same standard standard as aul 2.
Buttevant went up a few years back also and are doing brutal, macroom not much better
Have seen a few of the so called senior teams in div 2 and standard is awful bar the top 2/3.
Casement, temple, ballinhassig all shocking and thats just to name a few
Kanturk were the same barely held their own in Aul premier now their bottom of 1st division Msl 2 points picked up all season
kanturk arent as bad as table suggests from what ive seen. should have a couple more draws against some of the bigger clubs. infairness to them they have a tiny pool of player too , goosed once the gaa starts aswell . kanturk definitely better than a lot of the others mentioned. 2nd division is shocking level really dont see why so many were added.
Is it true castleview full senior team are dropping down the aul the best part of them did last year but full team is I'm hearing
Grass is not always greener on the other side.
Yes better facilities etc.
But you are coming up against huge clubs and to be really competitive is next to impossible for some.
The AUL should be a very good option for some really well run clubs.
It needs tiding up better fixture management ( weather & refs a huge problem), increased awareness of big games, harder punishment for the carrying on likes of City Wanders this season, no shows like Knocka and Cathedral, the yo-yoing of clubs in and out of the league.
Whilst these mightn’t be easy fixes it’s vital if the league is the grow.
Lads aul only more than happy with walkover cause before they even talk about point deduction they talk about how much will we fine um money takes priority year after year with the same people sitting at that table knowing fact
Excellent football tonight from hill I’m hearing 4 1 winners
Well worth their win. I was chatting to Barry Peelo before the game and he said UCC were short a load because of exams. If that's the case could be a tough end to the season for them
Tough gig that UCC Job for number of years you couldn’t get um to start till sept and now missing players in may over exams manager out there earning his money he’s paid to manage um
Better team won tonight hands down. Fair play to them no excuses but I never got a penny for what I do
Goal you still playing I’m Jonny card haha dogs on the street knows manager of UCC is getting paid I know two managers on here that can confirm that cause they got offered it in the past haha that wasn’t a dig at the management of UCC the point I was making was it’s tough work running um so manager deserves what he gets now getting back to football missing players or not I did say after Grattan game the better teams would bully UCC watched um few times now and really didn’t see anything special about um same with Grangevale when they were all the rage start of season told ye they’d end up mid table unfortunately for Aul premier every year the cream rises to the top Coachford still running for treble Grattan still chance of double not a rant just my opinion.
We finally agree on something Fish teams like Ucc Grattan coachford just three I know of that or paying manager needs to be competing for all trophies in my opinion but it is thankless job hats off to all managers in all leagues
Would have to disagree about a failed season, going to finish 3rd in a league behind two teams that have dominated it past few few years, AOH QF lost to a side runners up last year and have beaten Grattan two years in a row there now in the comp, Mossie SF lost to one of the two faves to reach final, tough gig having a new team out every week missing players here and there. As ye said Thankless job won’t get the same commitment as other players on club teams unfortunately but that’s how it is.
I would have to agree with Cityboy. Let's not forget they only got promoted too so to finish 3rd in the top league in the AUL is a serious achievement. It will take another gear to compete with Grattan and Aghabolaghhhhgford
Don’t think personally third in league is good enough and loosing in quarter of aoh and semi of Mossy can’t count only played one game to get to semi in all fairness I agree with Fish poor season for me if that’s the case Village and knocka or having great seasons Village semi mossy semi Aoh and I think they’ll beat knocka sat and then knocka semi Aoh and final of Henry Healy .
I disagree with u i personally do think its a failed season espically with the luxury of players they have to pick upon other team would love to have that luxury to choose from they were well beaten against city wanders in aoh before appeal went in and then absolutely battered last night against watergrasshill and probaly finish 3rd in league behind coachford or grattan by at least 10 points first year in premier i understand but to to not even compete for the league YES it is a poor season i wonder will management jump ship again or demand more money like the last time
Getting promoted and finishing 3rd in the top division is good season in my opinion.
Going on that logic most teams will have bad seasons.
A good season is clear progression which to be fair they have achieved
How many teams are above that UCC side that have their pick of players before that teams gets their pick? Genuine Question unsure myself, If every team that comes up to premier are going to be judged as a bad season by finishing below them two then it'll be a while before a promoted team may have a good season, At the exception of Hill plenty teams have been promoted from the other leagues and are doing quite well in those leagues challenging to jump again or even for the league. Easy to say it's a bad season when there's no cups there at the end
