Corinthians Cup 2nd round.
Killowen 1 Hillington 0.
Wasn't at the game but by all accounts both sides squandered plenty chances. A goal in the 1st half did the trick for Killowen. At least we have progressed in a cup competition, as we lost our opening games in the A.O.H. , County and Saxone cups.
Leeds 2 ballyvolane 1
Ballyvolane ahead on the stroke of half time with a penalty. We replied with a dean buckley header about 20 mins in to the second half. we won it with a wonder strike from niall murphy with minutes left. good to get all points. our keeper was outstanding.
little man any particular reason for refusing to play the street under lights?
surely its better than that pitch. i know the street were anxious to get ye on a big pitch.
I was workin nights an so was Rob on the Friday,thats about it im afraid.

Dissapointing again today. Could have went either way really with both sides guilty of missing some great chances. Their 2nd goal a "wonder strike" ??.....i dont think so mate. The boy by his own admission crossed it in and it floated in over our injured keeper. The diifference is that Leeds had that bit of luck today and have the 3 points. We need to start taking our chances and start putting teams away instead of getting caught with sucker punches late on. Missing 5 of our players didnt help either today.
And now we have Leeside to look forward to on Wednesday
Very disappointed with this result - thought we should have been 2 up after 10 minutes! Both sides could have scored a lot - definitely wasnt a 1-0 game . I wont make any comments regarding the fracas or the ref !!Quote:

Hi Blackpool beezer or anyone else who was at Saxone cup game v Casement. Innishvilla travel to Casement Park on St. Patrick's day - just wondering what Casement are like - hard to judge them based on only having played 3 league games. That normally means some really good cup runs but I can only see them having done well in the Saxone Cup - anyone know why they've so few league games played - pretty much 9/10 games less than the rest of the division...

Wilton 3-1 Bohs 1/4 finals city cup .......We (Bohs) were i have to say not at our very best yesterday Wilton wanted it more and just seemed to get the better breaks of the ball, referee had big call on their 3rd goal and even though we missed a peno with about 10 mins to go on the basis of the game they deserved it i have to say.
On the brightside of it we have to do it all again paddys day when we have another huge 1/4 final against the boys from Ballyvolane at 2:30 there pitch should be a cracker and we will want to put the last game out of our heads by notching (i hope) up a result to get into the semis, we should be well up for the game after losing the last one and will want to put it right.
Ye should see the talk over on the fai thread about PIKE. Springfield if theres any truth to the rumours about st michaels objecting to the legality of Pike's ex league of ireland players whats to stop ye objecting also??????? well worth a look at the thread..........................
