Someone who used to work for TNB, Im sure you can guess who, reckons if he's put in 80-100k that'd be the height of it. Like you say it'd be interesting to see him prove it.

I would rather chance our arm in Administration then have that ***** get anywhere near that amount of money...especially if it means we keep Roddy at the helm.
I really dont like where this is going from a somewhat objective point of view. Does O Connel think he can make money on a LoI club? Especially if he buys it at the figure Tommy wants?
Even if there is a new owner, surely it's too late to rescue a premier license for this season at this late stage?
Not that the FAI won't just fudge the hell out of it given the least excuse.
That's what he and his new BBF Rod have been spouting. A rumour doing the rounds of "compadres" in Dublin boxing circles is that a certain owner of a security company (and backer of the Hylands) is supposedly putting a few quid in the pot if Tom stays. Likewise a well known publisher (John O'Connor) and Roddy hanger on wants to back his amigo. This and his "Russian" investors should push CCFC into the Chmpions League! Now, if all that were to be believed..........
Dan Connor has walked. No Pay No Play, don't blame him - Club is a joke.
Anyone getting into Irish football and hoping/expecting to make a profit on an ongoing basis would need to have their head examined.
Irish clubs making ongoing profits would generally be more by accident than design, or else coupled with no genuine focus on on-pitch performances. Especially a club like Cork with no assets to generate non-match day income from.
CCFC Forum is adjusted so that CCFC related threads are not in view.
Just wondering had anyone else the same problem and i there something going on within the club regarding this?

Look at your PMs on there, everything's explained. :)
(I presume so anyway, I didn't bother to read it)
All over the papers again today with the rumours across the tabloids!
Roddy wants to cancel the contracts of Dan Murray, Danny Murphy and Dan Connor and the club rumoured to be looking at their public criticism of the running of the club as a means to do this.
Billy Dennehy's contract will be cancelled today by mutual consent.
Quintas have made an offer for the club on behalf of a Cork business man.
Falls short of the €800,000 Tom Coughlan is looking for [ffs ]
FORAS are ready to come on board as "partners" it seems.
Could be a decision by the weekend with Coughlan willing to consider the offer.
Hello another legal case.
I assume the takeover has to go ahead by Monday week, or else the company (surely!) gets wound up and O'Connor gets none of his money back? I assume also then that he'll be looking to make profits of at least what he (and Revenue) are owed in the next couple of years. That'll seriously hamstring Cork's spending if so. Is it worth it?
