Around 700 at the waterford v dublin game tonight.. feckin awefull
My guesstimate for Pats v Derry tonight is around 2200. Up on the last few weeks mainly cos the Shed seemed to have quite a few in it, particularly in the second half. Be interesting to see what's given as the official attendance on the club website.
About 800 at the RSC last night.
Worst game ever witnessed at the RSC
Getting lower as Farrelly has us worse and worse. Crowd tonight was only 1,120. Should break under the thousand mark soon.
I love that typo - means the exact opposite of what you want it to mean!Quote:

I'd say between 300-350 Rovers fans in Dundalk. Agree with Oriel on other areas bar the stand as I couldn't see into it.
Another paltry 120 at the Kildare V limerick game of which about 30 from Limerick. Bloody awful....

I would say 5000 is decent estimate of Cork City v Shels eventhough some estimates put at 5500.
474 is the official attendance for GUFC vs Monaghan.
What's capacity now that the Shed is gone? Didn't think the ground looked that full from the couple of minutes I saw of it. Thought the open stand was half full at best?Quote:

decent crowd in bray last nite for longford match. i'd guess about 1000. i was also very surprised at the amount of longford fans aswell great to see.
watched most of cork shels on tv.
id go with 4500
1000 opposite main stand
1700 in main stand.
1800 in st annes end

General consensus on the Dundalk forum is 1600 for Dundalk-Rovers, but will bring it down to 1500 just to be on the safe side. Comparisons to 2005 and 2004 -
PREMIER DIVISION
Bohemians v Bray Wanderers - 1120 (2005 - 1110; 2004 - n/a)
St. Patricks Athletic v Derry City - 2200 (1295; 2040)

Kilkenny City v Cobh Ramblers - no figure (130; no figure)
Kildare County v Limerick - 120 (225; 175)
Finn Harps v Monaghan - no figure (n/a; 500)
The paying attendance given for the Waterford v Dublin City game was 780, which was given in the Waterford News & Star. That figure excludes season ticket holders and concessionaries.
Typical UCD fan underestimating attendance figures.
I didn't realise underestimating attendance figures was a typical trait of a UCD fan.:confused:Quote:

Pat, does that include season ticket holders, as they are counted when they go into the ground?Quote:

So you think I just made up the figure then, do you? Or did you bother to look back over the thread and find the Waterford fan posting the figure?:rolleyes:Quote:

Taking a guess on the Shels v Bohs crowd somewhere between 2,200 and 2,500 is what I would think. Very bad turnout.
Rogue Trader, it is a terrible crowd for two teams that play a few miles apart and consider each other rivals. Shocking that clubs can't get their support out for derbies.
Monaghan United v Kilkenny City - 120 at best
2700-3100 tonight at the Game, Maribor will be on with offical attendence later!
450 at Harps - Kildare
1,600 or thereabouts for Drogs v Waterord.
And Sligo v Drogs was a poor looking crowd ( I thought Sligo got Corkesque crowds!!) - not much over 1,000 I would say
