Kerry v Finn Harps has sold out!
https://twitter.com/KerryFC/status/1...AUmNwPGrQ&s=19
A link was shared for away supporters yesterday.
Aware of that, but it disappeared completely this morning. The future ticketing site said 'no event available', and all of a sudden the game is sold out with away supporters left having no tickets now. League rules is that 10% of capacity is saved for away supporters, and I'd highly doubt if 140 Harps fans bought tickets for this yesterday since they put out the link.
If people haven't copped it by now, get in early for Kerry games because they sell out.
Tickets were on sale all day yesterday. There was an away section of tickets available as well. Away clubs are probably best advised to make early contact.Did Finn Harps make any contact with the club before tickets went on sale on Monday?
You can’t sell the away allocation . It’s away only.
At the end of the day, Harps aren't going to bring much of a crowd, I'm sure any fans traveling will be looked after but this doesn't appear to be the first time there's been complaints of away tickets not being held back, if only we had a governing body to inform clubs of such things
2457 attendance at OP
About 100 from Sligo
Just back from Treaty game 15 longford town fans attended it.
968 official at UCD v Shels
Suspect that's just the paying attendance as before cos it looked more like 1100, but it's official so obviously in it goes
3489 in Richmond I believe was announced.
1119 at Mounthawk Park.
About 40 Harps fans down. Have to give Kerry credit, but Mounthawk is dreadful.
Around 1000 max in bray, maybe 30 or so from athlone. My 1st hime game for awhile and the place was like a graveyard, dull, quiet, lifeless. I'm not sure what the cabinteely owners are doing but it's not working, didn't work for them in stradbrook and it's not working in bray, shocking.
On a side note, can a game really be described as "sold out" if the attendance is almost 200 less than the first home match of the season? Still an excellent gate given recent results, and if it can stabilise around this level, it would be brilliant, but just seems curious.
In any case, the Galway game should be higher, given both their record so far, and the distance being more travel-friendly for an away than either Athlone or Harps.
Just shy of 700 at Treaty vs Longford
Weekend fun:
Bohs v Shamrock Rovers - 4,290
St Pats v Cork City - 3,689
Derry City v Drogheda - 3,605
Dundalk v Sligo Rovers - 2,457
UCD v Shelbourne - 968
Kerry v Finn Harps - 1,119
Treaty v Longford - 686
Wexford v Galway - 644
Bray v Athlone - 605
Cobh v Waterford - N/A
"Over 1600" at the Cobh game.

Would certainly believe that, Cobh atrendances have been excellent to date, and Waterford fans similarly have travelled in numbers all season.
Decent crowd at TC with about 60/70 Dundalk travelling fans.
