I paid a visit to Westport today and the locals seems to fancy their chances against St. Peters. Also, the olive branch is out for Carew Park, as the local inhabitants wants Carew Park to beat Castlebar Celtic and they would personally go to the game to cheer on Carew Park. That is how fickle football can be in nine months.
That's a load of cr*p, TB. People in Westport worry only about their own game and could'nt care less whether or not Castlebar and Carew play out a 27 all penalty shoot-out. We have our sights firmly set on 'doing the business' against our next opponents and only an idiot or a bunch of them would contemplate what happens in Castlebar. Did you (by some magic medium) talk to everyone in Westport?Quote:

We're looking forward, and I would say to you to start focusing on positive energy rather than opening up old wounds.
Cheerio.
Old Bridge of Clonmel beat Passage United of Cork 2-1 today and will now meet either East End United or St. Kevin's Boys. Goals from Emmet Ryan (4 mins) and Paul Ryan (84 mins).
what ever odds are been toss about I wonder how many clubs will be checking out Castlebar Celtic if they go though.
I wonder what odds you would get on an objection to there recent signings from the eircom league?
Regards to Westport they couldn't care less who celtic play as long its not them
I make Westport one of the front runners
With regards to Celtic, it may be ongoing at this moment in time. Clubs in the bigger leagues are not that slow to do research on their opponents in the FAI Junior Cup; some administrators could read rule books backwards to you.Quote:

Thunder blaster, well you stop trying to convince everyone that your not from Westport. You are! and I know it, so stop with the charade.
And by the way look up the word libel, before using it. ( with reference to an earlier posting).
P.S I am from Westport, and I dont give a toss about the Celtic and Carew Match. I must of been out of town the day you were conducting your research.

Incorrect. If I wanted to tell everyone where I lived, I could have done that last year, and at that point, it is nobody's business where I live, and definitely not yours! Do not drag this into a slagging match.Quote:

anyone got any info on dungarvin???
ya its spelt dungarvan
Dungarvan would be a middle of the table Premier Division team in the Waterford Junior League
On their day though they are capable of beating any Waterford team, and it is a tricky away fixture for any team.
Playing them away is not easy!
CLASSIC.....................Quote:

Clonmel Town very lucky to get past Tralee Dynamoes 1-0. Town were better team in first half but didn't really create any clear cut chances, Tralee hitting the post just before half time with their only significant attack of the half. Tralee had some sitters in the second half and managed to blaze over when it was easier to score. Town won it with a wonder strike from 25 yards by Ian Barnes. Unstoppable shot. Clonmel very relieved to be into last 16 on this showing although they had not played for a month before today and it showed. Tralee desperatley unlucky but can only blame themselves for not taking their chances. They are a handy side with 2 or 3 quality players. Just one of those days for them.
