Or 'clock' as I had to tell my 8 year old nephew what the crowd were saying lol

Raff Cretaro leaves Sligo after 17 years at the club. That's almost unheard of these days. It's pretty much as long as this forum has been around.
Here's a thread on here from 2003 suggesting him as one of the LoI's best young players. Most of the posters in the thread haven't lasted as long!
Cretaro signs for Harps and Ciaran Gallagher back aswell.
He did have stints at Bohs and Galway as well.
Cretaro will always be a hero in my eyes for his massive contribution to the bit o red.
Such a clever player. He also had an unbelievable burst of pace and leap that made him one of the best players the league has seen on his day imo.
Only for him Id say we would have been relegated in the last two seasons as he put in some wonderful performances and scored some critical goals.
Best of luck to him at Harps. You can be sure he will be a great addition.
It is sad when looking back at old threads and seeing posts from now deceased members, there but for the grace of god!!
To see Simon Kelly and Chris Lawless named as potential stars is mad. Kelly is worthy of being called a legend in our 1st division sides and a bit beyond. Lawless turned out to be a waste of talent.
Where is the master of arrogance Dodge these days?
Drennan can p1ss off. To say the club bent over backwards to look after him (and his partner) last season is an understatement. He spat the dummy like a child when Lyttle got let go and stirred some crap at the end of the season too. He had no problem going on twitter with an empty 'thank you' to the club but showed no respect to the club or manager in the last week.
His recovery from all his much documented problems is great to see. Good to see your sympathetic.
That is a ridiculous post, Id like for you to recall that NNNN. Nowhere did I mention his problems, the club are more than good to all players not just those with documented issues. His lack of respect for the club recently and the crap at the end of last season was ridiculous.
I should add when I said "haven't lasted that long", that's not at all what I meant...
Twotter world these days.
We were both following each other on that site until he blocked me over a silly argument about the away section at OP :D :p
The bio on his a/c used to read something like "LOI Twitter personality who loves American sport" 71k+ posts there atm.
Attention seeking whore imo.
He is doing something right if we are passing comment! lol That damn away section, causing arguments and looks like the set from a post-apocalyptic war movie. Nah Dodge is a knowledgeable football fan, he wasnt just shy about knowing better than everyone else on everything. David McMillan going to flop at Dundalk was one of the last nuggets here.
Greg Sloggett signs for Derry
I expect him to attract a lot of attention this season. Blow to UCD

A Joe Gormley transfer to Tallaght looks to be gettinga tad more expensive. Not for the first time this week Cliftonville have done the usual not for at any price statements* which really shouting 'higher' then we will talk, then saying to disgruntled supporters that the offer was too high to refuse, the club's financially security is the top priority and that they wont stand in the players way if he wants to move! etc etc. Makes the availability of Drennan being overlooked a missed opportunity as surely Rovers would have opened the purse strings to beat Pats to his signature. Would a move for McMillan have Rovers fans happy?

I doubt rovers "overlooked" drennans availability they either have a better alternative lined up or don't want to go there. Having said that pats are looking strong for next year. It's going to be a competitive year next year
Had signed gilchrist well before Cleary came available but don't let the facts worry you troll.
I guess dfc overlooked watts and mceneff ...grow up
Bray Wanderers sign Gabriel Sava.
You can roar 'troll' as often as you wish, but it still remains that Rovers not signing Drennan or any other player is a not automatically some master stroke of player judgement as you infer - the signing of Gilchirst is only one of many examples of this ineptitude.
On your whataboutry question of Dylan Watts, it is well known that Dundalk wished to sign him, but he opted to go to Tallaght.
Bray announcing the Sava signing in Romanian is lovely stuff. As is the frankly appalling grammar of all their announcements in English.
Probably a welcome return to more innocently embarrassing GLITW stuff from them.
Would you ever do every single person on here a favour and shut the f**k up about Rovers and Bradley. You're just constantly talking a load of ****e and annoying everyone here with your nonsensical ravings.
Your own club have never been in a better position yet you hardly ever post about them without comparing them to rovers, it's sad, grow up.
see Alex O hanlon has signed for Shels from Liverpool. Shels are assembling some squad and have to be favs to go up next season!
Shels are favourites to come up particularly with two weak teams coming down into the first division from last season. I don't think they will run away with it though. Getting promoted this season may be easier then the next as the two relegated teams from next year's premier will likely be stronger than limericks and bray. Miss out this year and it potentially gets harder
Still alot of transfer business for all FD clubs to resolve itself, I'm not convinced Shels should be favourites with a completely inexperienced manager. Conan Byrne and Ryan Brennan are very good signings but outside of them nothing that should have other FD teams worrying about them. Bray and Limerick are already assembling players stronger than I would have thought, Drogheda and Longford are looking ok and both should be challenging. If Shels can add a striker to hit 20 goals then maybe they will be considered favourites
Wouldn't say that about us to be honest, lost Duggan and Coleman, replaced both with junior lads. We are assembling 19s, with junior lads around them for experience mostly so far, several of those having been with the club before but not kept on in better times.
Well i for one forecasted bray would be fully amateur as I thought it was a case of joeys just taking over to protect their access to loi underage leagues. Happy to be wrong as the last thing tyhe league needs is a zombie club. Strange goings on at the underage there apparantly joeys are not allowing their under 12's represent bray in the under 13 national leagues next year..is that just a rumour or what? Any bray or joeys people know about it?
