Question who is the only person to have a munster youth and fai youth medal
quite a number of st michaels lads have both medals! on the pitch playing that is which is what matters! won the munster in 95 and the fai in 94, fair sad if he is blowing about a referees medal, whats the betting he wasnt on the startin team for celtic when they won the munster youths
This is the most stupid thread yet. Who cares?? The man is doing his best along with all the refs. If we keep slagging them , they will pack up and we will have no games. Went to see Bridge v Wildies yesterday. Some performance by the Bridge and Murt Kennedy. Bridge v Town in Munster is going to be a belter
Relax complexman, a question was asked and people replied, you sure do like to bore us with your love of Muiris Walsh and Clonmel Town, get over it!
I support Town and love my son and mother. Sorry for being such a bore. I will try harder to be more interesting and intriguing. ;)
It was you that asked the question and it is obvious from your posts (a previous one having been removed by the moderator) that you have a problem with this particular ref. Why don't you just lay off him. He does his best and like players, coaches and everyone involved in the game he can make mistakes. Big deal.
Well said Roberto.
its called having a laugh and yes he did say it. some serious people on this thing. i couldnt care if he has a medal for playing pitch and toss and throw the welly . i was just telling what he said.
great draw for my local club vee rovers getting clonmel celtic in munster junior cup .it will be great for the lads to play against a quality side .could be an upset rovers have started well scoring goals for fun,
Another great result from Old Bridge yesterday with a 4-0 win against Wilderness. That is 3 wins with 3 clean sheets and 1 draw, great start to the season. Martin Kennnedy getting 4 goals was exceptional and Aaron Moroney signing back is a great addition as well. Could be a good season for Old Bridge.
it would be great for the club to get back up the leagues , vee have been in TSDL for over 30 years and have a proud tradition .like alot of clubs emergration lack of player commitment has seen the club fall down the leagues ..but things look to be on the up ,
predictions for the weekend?
lookin at the draw, there is no real tough ones to call, i cant see any shocks.
Q, this is the second round, how many rounds to you have to win to get into the draw where you could meet anyone in the country and what stage is that at? last 64?
clonmel town and saints both won well. any upsets today or were all results as expected
Im going to get this off my chest and im not going to spare anyone because it needs to be said, what went on up in Peake Villa today was an absolute farce, beaten at home by a team in the 3rd division of Tsdl, Paying a manager to come from Limerick to manage when the money should be spent on a local coach to come in and coach and try and help the younger players, The committee and i mean EVERY one of them need to be turfed out, the club won the Premier League 3 seasons ago and will be relegated this year, the youth team was the best in the country 5 years ago, back to back Munster Youth champs and winning leagues without drawing a game, now they get stuffed by Cahir Park at home, where is this going to end??? A complete clean out is needed...Aidan O Brien uses people who understand horses in Coolmore so lets use people who understand football in the club, surely enough is enough
where to start.
1 beaten by a 2nd division team today not 3rd division
2 its been 9-10 years not 5 years since peake were tod dogs munster youths.
3 Cahir park were in munster youths semi final last year and are very strong this year at youths level. even attracting a few new players from outside there usual catchment area. Drew with town already this seaon. no shame in peake youths losing 3-1 to chir park
4 Clonmel town were beating by dundrum last season can remember saint michaels being beaten by sarsfield rovers a few years back. Those clubs dont even exist anymore. Upsets happen in football thats the beauty of the game. Dont see huge shame in losing to rosegreen who obviously upped there game on the day.
Ya peake are having a bad time of it but have to roll sleeves up now and dig in. Its going to be a long hard season for them. Im sure they are hurting after the defeat today in junior cup. and if they go down this season in league so be it. Cashel, Bridge etc have all spent time in division 1 in the past and are now going well in the premier league. If the Club needs a few years rebuilding then so be it. last time they were down in Division 1 didnt do them any harm(think it was 2000 just before ye won premier league title for 1st time if im correct)
If you got ur wish and the wole commitee is turfed out who will run the club then. There would be no club at all.
Clonmel Celtic 4-1 Ballymackey
Killusty 1-3 Old Bridge
Balls....Prremier League, 1st div, 2nd division so Rosegreen are in the 3rd division of Tsdl as stated. The difference is Oldbridge, Bansha,Wildies are not throwing huge money at a lad from Limerick, if they were rebuilding you would say something, the problem is people like you Balls constantly coming on saying things are fine etc when you don't know,id love to hear the reaction of other Villa people on this, the club is about 3 years from being just a schoolboy club and no Junior teams and this is actually what the committee want and have openly stated to players, apparently the junior team is just "a hassle"
Redmondstown 1 BT Harps 0
it is seldom i would agree with hotspur but on this occasion he is right.the current peake manager managed two decent first division teams in limerick and destroyed both of them.the word bluffer is not an exaggeration in this fella,s case.
Cashel Town 2 St Kierans 0 were very lucky, Kierans are handy side, made it quite difficult for the Cashel lads
Yeah we got wind of that this evening in the pub that he had relegated 2 sides in the only 2 jobs he had, he must think he has struck gold here getting big bucks to make it a hat trick but Balls and co on this will tell us not to say anything, bluffer is being kind lads, somebody on the committee has to take responsibilty for this
Bansha have not had a great start to the season but still to beat them by 4 goals is good going. Some decent results all round for north tipp teams with clodaigh and arra dumping out cahir park and borris who would be the 2 best division 1 tsdl teams this season
Cashel were missing 8 first team players.2 through injury,1 suspension and cashel king cormacs had a west final tonight against Dundrum.it was pretty much their B team out.in fairness to Kierans they did play well but seemed to run out of steam in the last 15/20 mins...is it an open draw again for the 3rd round, does anyone know?
