Great result for Newcastle yesterday to get them back on track after last weeks set back, I heard Broadford were also very good yesterday and got a good result against Glin. Shannonside still the team to beat though. Rathkeale now in danger of facing a relegation fight
Good result for Newcastle to get them back on track..heard they destroyed askeaton,missed good chances and should have won 9 or 10-1..broadford still going well and also abbey and shannonside..askeaton and kildimo to be relegated this year..
Can anyone tell me, there's a rumour going round about ian bennis (keeper)from limerick signing for kildimo...... Why in gods name would he travel out to the desmond league for football.. isn't he signed for fairview?or has that changed

Ya good result for us...League very competitive this year...Askeaton and Kildimo are under pressure alright but Kildimo are a decent side and prob shud have got a result against us if not beaten us first game of season..they play decent football.Fancy them to beat Rathkeale sunday. Shannonside won 3-2. Should hav scored 8 or 9 easily. were fairly comfortable at 3-1 but askeaton scored wit 3 mins left and nearly got somethin out of it. Shannonside wud hav to be more clinical against others teams or they cud be punished. Fair play to askeaton they kept it goin
