What does this mean? Is it funny?

Are there tickets available for the return leg in Dayler? Would I be able to pay at the gate?
no tickets left for the jodi afaik. I think that a limited number of tickets will be available on the night but probably only for the connaught.
think they said between 400-500 travelling Bohs supporters in our end, plus one (now legendary) Bray fan... :D
Very poor crowd in Dalymount tonight by the look of it.
where did you see it?
commentators on Derry stream were saying it was pretty decent turnout for a Sunday evening...
On TV it looked really poor. Looked like less than 1,000 in the Jodi. I guess people couldn't stretch to tonight and Wednesday.
That would mean that the Jodi was two thirds empty!!!. Looked about one third empty to me. Healthy(or unhealthy) crowd also watching Setanta in both bars under the Jodi,
Decent Derry crowd for Sunday night 150 or thereabouts.
I thought Bohs were excellent in the first half, second half both teams were knackered ( other than Deegan ). Good three points, ten ahead of Derry now.
if bohemians can get to the third round they automatically make it into the europa league group stages even if they lose. come on Bohs you can do it, just three hurdles stand in the way. what impact would europa league qualification have?
btw didnt linfield draw with dinamo zagreb away from home last year or am i very very wrong?
I think you know what you mean but have stated it incorrectly. They need to beat whoever they get in the third round and even if they lose the play off they will make the group stages of europa. so you're right in syaing 3 games away from it.
I'm not sure of the exact impact but would expect it would open up the possibility of us moving up a couple of spots in the access list.
i thought i understood the permutations but affter those two posts, im pretty confused again...
IF we beat Salzburg and then go out to Pyunik/Zagreb we go to the playoff for Europa League.
IF we beat Salzburg, then Pyunik/Zagreb and then lose in the last qualifying round, then we go straight to the Europa League Group stages.
i think thats right. Either way, a lot of work to be done on Wednesday night...
Could any Bohs fan tell me will you need a ticket to get in tomorrow to the game? I'm planning on turning up at gate. I suppose it won't be a sell out?
If Bohs go through they will face Dinamo Zagreb

I'll be showing the game again tomorrow for people who can't get there.

...really?Quote:
The Gypsies claimed a credible 1-1 draw with Salzburg in the first leg away from home and are now slight favourites to progress to the next qualifying round.
RTE's making something out of nothing in that article in fairness.
All RBS's manager is saying is that they had most chances in Austria and should have won the game, and that they'll have to take their chances in Dublin and win the game. I don't think anything he's saying in that regards is unfair or writing Bohs off.
Bohs fans may have issues with his comments re the pitch however. If he thinks Dalymount "curves" then he's lucky he's not facing the famous Brandywell slope..... :D
They don't call it Walking Back to Houston for nothing (or Salzburg, in this case.)

The game was streamed on the website aswell.
Reluctantly heading back to work, to rely on radio commentary and no internet. All the best Bohs, do us proud and make this one a memorable week for the League of Ireland.
And for God's sake make sure Ndo has one of his 'on' days. I know he had one last Wednesday and he's not due another until mid-October, but if he could possibly just turn it on tonght, that'd be great. ;)

Bohs have not been threatened at all to my surprise, I expected a far better Salzburg to turn up, but they may do for the 2nd Half.
