I've obviously only seen him once or twice cos I only go to Town games. I'm not a manager or a scout that goes all around the country scouting players!! I'm sure Cousins will of looked at him more than once or twice!!

I'm sure he wouldn't be very expensive. If it doesn't work out we can let him go in due course. He's only a young lad he could progress if he's playing in a better team.
Obviously only saw him in games against us last season and thought he was a good player. Easily Mervue's most creative player but then again not sure how much of a compliment that is. Agree that he does have a tendenancy to sulk and moan if things aren't going his way. Think I remember Haverty in one of the games this season giving him a particularly hard time of it. Still though, he is a player with pace which is something we need and as Longfordian said we wouldn't exactly be breaking the bank singing him...we could be signing a lot worse players...
What age is he does anybody know?
25 apparently..
I saw on the section o facebook page that Etando Nokolo ex Mervue Utd has signed for us. What would people think of this if true?
I personally don't think he's all that great. Plenty of pace though which you definitely lacked last season.
Not much to lose by taking him on really. Thought he was younger than 25 mind you but that's still fairly young compared to Keith Gillespie! Agree that it was very obvious that we needed to inject pace into the side.
I think the key this season is to keep Colly James fit he was fantastic last season and when he was out we had absoutely no cover down the right wing, maybe a position we should look for cover in.......After all its squads that win titles
I was looking up info on Willie Tyrrell from my old match programmes and I know that we got him from Wayside Celtic but he has loi experience from his days with Kildare Co and Bray Wanderers.
I see Nkololo is listed in the Town squad on the website. So are Gary Cronin and a Gavin Doyle, ex Wexford and Arklow Town. No sign of Willie Tyrell on there though, I wonder if there's still more to be put up or has he actually signed? Des Hope not up there either but he has signed back.

some interesting names there. I am delighted Gary Cronin is stayin as all experience welcome. good to see a few of the under 19s promoted also.. I am sure Massop 10 can tell us about the under 19s their pedigree..
Never rated him very highly, he struggled last year when called upon, but he has been at the club for a long time, originally came with fellow drogs Danny O'Connor and Andy Myler iirc.. He probably has his eyes set on a management job in the future so good luck to him
Apparently he has the makings of a great coach...
