Galway Races.

Now im from Galway City so it might seem weird for me to be saying this but i REALLY do not like them.I went out once one year,sat in traffic going to it for freakin ages,couldnt get parking,couldnt move in the place,qued for freaking ages to buy a dam dear pint that tasted like pi**.I dont have clue about horses but was still expected to "pick one anyways" and then never see that money again.At the end of the day your almost expected and oblighed to say "yes,i had a great time",bo**ox:mad:-rant over!!!

The Kings of Leon's current album is a massive disappointment in that they've watered down their sound and sanitised the sentiment in their songs.

Hence, they've become more accessible to the dreaded mainstream and have suddenly been "discovered" - but the current crop of songs are their worst by some distance.

Nothing new in any of this.

They're a brilliant band and I'm hoping the next album will be a reaction to the mainstream sound of the current album.

Any of their previous albums are well worth a listen.

PS - the Script are indeed a load of ****e.

yeah ACDC are not bad, but some would claim they are the greatest - I dont know why?

Rod Stewart is awful - how he has got away with it for so long, and even with his haircut

Galway , used to like it but hate the place now had a few nightmares journeys getting , constant traffic jams and a shortage of parking when you get there , packed pubs , listening to friends who moved there raving about it and to top it off its always fecking raining any time I go there.
