Do you stand up or sit down when you attend home games?
(That includes those of you who stand up in a seated stand)
I always stand up!
Always stand up at matches.
Feel restricted when Im sitting
I sit. I have my own seat through my season ticket and for those who have been to the Brandywell, i sit in block E, 4 blocks away from where the away fans normally are
Sit in Dalymount, usually stand at away games (except Richer where I sit with my knees at my chin on those baby seats)
Stand. Terracces aren't really made for comfortable sitting...
Stand.
Stand. I find it hard to be taken seriously shouting abuse while sitting down.
I sit (In the "baby seats" in Richmond;) ) Since I'm of the "vertically challenged" persuasion it doesn't bother me. Don't like standing, mainly for the same reason. My pet hate is people who stand in seating areas, forcing everyone else to stand and resulting, for me anyway, in a restricted view of the action. A pain in the arce. (Cue backlash from the "real fans stand up" brigade)
Stand in the stand.
I Stand
I stand as its not that easy to play a drum while sitting down and shouting abuse .
I stand on the seats
Stand always.
I'm always sittin!!
I prefer to stand but if i'm am bringing people along then i normally sit, not expecting them to stand for 90 mins. Definitely not the same shouting abuse when you are sitting though :p
I stand. I tried to sit in the new stand in the Carlisle, but soon found myself feeling uncomfortable, and was back on my feet again. I stand every week at York City over here as well...one of the few English grounds where this is still possible.
I stand for the most part but i have a bad back and if it's playing up,i'll sit for a while.
always have.i(and many other gufc fans) will have a problem to address when the new stand is completed because it will be sheltered from wind so less cold but there might not be standing room at the back of it so do i move and sit and be warm or stay put and be able to continue shouting abuse more productively while standing but remain cold:) .
stand durin the match and sit down at half time to rest the feet! can actually get quite stiff sometimes....especially wen i used to go to the shed and it was packed!prefer to stand up though!
Sitting is so passé! :D
always stand not that theres much choice in drogheda
stand.
Bit of both. Where I sit/stand it varies. If whoever is behind me is standing, I stand, I prefer standing, but if there's some aul lad behind me sitting, I sit. I prefer to stand though.
Where I go, a few years ago everyone used to stand so I used to stand all the time, however the demographic in that part of the stand has changed over the last few years and theres a lot more sitters. I'd move down abit but I'm more attached to my place than I am to standing.
I stand for the first part of the season, then further into the season when the matches mean less and less and it's apparent we have nothing to play for I'm more likely to move down to section A or B and sit.
Stand in section A making as much noise as possible! Doesnt feel right to watch a game sitting down.
I've been known to lie down if it gets particularly bad
Can't abide seating at a game myself but to each their own and all that
i remember at the cup final all the derry fans were standing up pre game and so old guy expected everyone to sit down once the whistle blew...he was wrong and he got very angry....standing up for the biggest game of the season..crazy stuff:p
i prefer to stand...
i love the way everyone in the main stand in the showgrounds stands up at half time....apart from when we score thats the only time they every do:rolleyes:
Stand, although sat for loads of games in the final third of last season. Self explanatory reasons. :(
Tired?
Stand always.
what about the time you collapsed in Cork (?)
lol
Stand
I always stand, sitting totally ruins atmosphere and the whole safety thing has been completely because of the likes of Hillsborough.
Stand....cant really imaging sitting watching a game
I only sit if the people behind me are or if the game is crap... Can't shout when you're sitting down!
i stand but i need 6 seats to my self as i have been known to run around like a headless chicken especially when alan kelly is the ref
