Week 1's tables are being updated but until then, i stumbled accross an option on the transfer screen that might help when you realise that your team is a bit pants.
last season you could make 1 transfer per week without penalty, anything else costed about 2 points per player.
there is now a wildcard option where you can make transfers without deduction... but only once so make your transfers wisely

You pick 15 players in your overall squad. You nominate 11 for each game week. If someone's injured or suspended, they drop out and are replaced automatically.
Any formation you want?
Select from 4-4-2, 3-5-2, 3-4-3 and one or two others. Your squad has to be 2-5-5-3, so pretty much any combination of that, providing you have one keeper selected. The thing won't let you select a dud formation though.
How do you change formation and by selecting a captain will that player get extra points?
The captain will get double points, as for setting the formation, if you select your team it will set up as 4-4-2 but by swapping your subs on it will change the formation for you.Quote:
