Name 2 English born managers that have managed clubs in the Champions League.
Bobby Robson- Barcelona
??
roy hodgson maybe??
dave o leary was born in london so him
Kevin Keegan, Newcastle..............
According to the Observer yesterday and they did not include Dave O leary and rightly so in my view as there would have been war if they did. It was
Bobby Robson and
One other that has not been mentioned so far.
John Barnes?
John Gregory? aston villa?
When did Villa ever play in the Champions League. Kevin Keegan Never managed a team in the champions League.
Roy Evans?
Ian Paisley's brother Bob.
well they were premiership runners up so i thought they qualified under that
That was before the Champions League was opened up to 2nd place team and it was actually the Champions League. A clue is that the guy managed a non English team.
Isn't it someone who managed a greek or cypriot team?
Here's the article but the answer seems to have fallen off the bottom

Howard Kendall?
Terry Venables?
some guy with AIK solna(spelling!!) in sweden
Fair Play Green Army the answer is Stuart Baxter for AIK Solna. I think they were in Arsenals group.
Stuart Baxter?>?>>>>>>>>>>>
was it some guy who took a sweedish team to the champions league?stuart baxter or something??
Did you have a sneaky look or did you really know the answer?
well of course dave o leary is a right answer too because the question was english born not english
wat about ray harford? managed b'burn in the champions league during the 95-96 season. he was born in halifax which sounds fairly english to me? so does that make 4 as opposed to the 2 the observers sloppy journos originally came up with?

Fowler missed out by one season as he did not join liverpool until 93.
Andy Cole missed out as he was with bristol city for the 92/93 season.
Gary Neville has been with united since the start of the premiership but doesnt count as he did not make an appearance in the 92/93 season
Well done!!!!!
Forgot Sheringham winning promotion for West Ham.
If Bosco's kind enough, you can have half of the cookie:rolleyes:Quote:
